•Temari's pov
' How many classes do I have with this kid?' I asked myself as we were walking. While we walked, we passed by a vending machine. "Hey i'm going to go get something really quick." I say as I walk towards the machine. He yawned and followed behind me. I stood there for about 20 seconds trying to figure out what I wanted. "Are you having a staring contest." he said jokingly. I just ignored what he said and smiled. I finally pressed a button to what I wanted, and I reached into my bag to find my wallet. But before I could get my money out, the pineapple head next to me put in a dollar. "Thank you, but you didn't have to do that." I say. "Well I wanted to. Now let's hurry up and get to class before we are late." He says as he starts walking.

As we got closer to the classroom a girl group of girls walked up to us. "Hey Shikamaru!" they say in flirty tones. He nodded hello to them. "Who's that." they asked him while looking at me funny. "This is Temari." he says as he yawns. "Hi Temari." they say as the my continue to look at me weirdly. I smile hello to them before I feel a hand grab mine. "Come on we are going to be late." Shikamaru says as he starts walking. The sudden gesture makes me blush, but I immediately fight the redness off my face. The girls gave me the stink eye as I walked away with him. He let go of my hand and continued walking. As we approached the door the bell rang. "What a drag." he mumbles as he walks into the room. As we walk in the teacher stares at us. "So, why don't you two explain to the class why you are late." Ebisu Sensei says. 'The bell literally just rang!' I say to myself. "We are sorry." Shikamaru says in a lazy voice as he bowed, and I do the same.

The class was already full, and only two seats in the back of the room remained. We both go take a seat. "Okay, good morning class. I hope you guys are enjoying your days so far. Today I will be giving you guys a test, to see where you guys are at, and see what we need to improve." the teacher says. "Will this be a grade?" one of the students ask. "Yes. This will be the first grade of the semester." Ebisu sensei states as he started passing out the papers. I look next to me to see Shikamaru with his head down, dozing off. "Wake up you lazy ass. We have a test." I say as I tap him on the shoulder. "I am awake, you troublesome woman." he responds as he puts his head up. "If you two have something to say, say it to the whole class." the teacher says as he places a test on my desk. "I'm sorry." I say as I look at the paper in front of me. 'What is all this?' I say to myself as I read the questions on the first page of the chemistry test. "Okay you may now start. You have 30 minutes to complete this." the teacher says as he sits down at his desk. 'I don't know any of this.' I think to myself as I flip through the pages. I could hear everyone else's pencils moving. "Okay pencils down. Pass up your test.". I was in my thoughts, thinking about how I should approach this, and I didn't even realize I ran out of time. I was barely done with the first page. I passed up my test, while trying to hide the fact that I was freaking out inside. 'Did I just fail the first test of the semester?' I asked myself. "You are all dismissed." the teacher says as he sits back at his desk.

I walk out the classroom, then I feel a hand tap me on the shoulder. "Are you coming to the park with us?" the lazy boy asked me as he yawned. "Oh, yeah. Let me text my brothers and let them know." I respond. I take out my phone and start texting my brothers as we walk. "Hey Tem." I look up from my phone to see my little brother walking up to me. "Oh hey Gara. I was just about to text you and let you know that i'm not walking home with you and Kankuro today. I'm going to the park with my friends." I say. "Alright." my little brother responds. "Who's this?" Gara asks as he looks up at Shikamaru. "This is my friend Shikamaru. Shikamaru, this is my brother Gara." I respond. Shikamaru waves at Gara, and Gara waves back. "Okay i'll see you at home." I say as me and Shikamaru start walking. "Hey guys!" a blonde fool says as he runs over to us. "Hey Naruto." Shikamaru responds, and I wave. "Are you guys coming to the park too?" The blonde questions. "Yeah." I respond as we all start walking. "Okay we can all walk together!" Naruto says. As we walked, we bumped into a group of guys. As we bumped into them, one of them grabbed me by the waist. "Hey cutie what's your name." he says as he smiles at me. I release myself from his grip and tried to continue walking, before the guy grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "I am talking to you." he says sternly. "Let go of her." Shikamaru says as he pulled me out of the guy's grip and put me behind him. "Or what?" the guy says as he laughs with his friends. It seemed like the dumb looking blonde idiot was a completely different person, because he looked serious as he stood next to Shikamaru. "You'll see." Shikamaru said as he turned around and started walking behind me. The blonde followed. "Thank you." I say looking over at Shikamaru. "No problem." He said as he looked back at me. When we made eye contact, it was like a fire work went off. I turned away quickly so he wouldn't see my blushing face. 'He's really good looking' I thought.When I turned back at him, his face was turned the other way, but I could see his ear and it was red.
