Chapter 11

Temari's Pov

We were so close to each other. The moment felt so perfect, I couldn't resist but to lean in. It seemed he had the same idea because he met me half way.

When our lips finally met, the room became hot. Well, not that we were in a room. We were still in the frame of my door.

I grabbed his shirt and pulled him into the room and closed the door, before our faces came smashing together again. He lightly bit my bottom lip causing me to open my mouth, and when I did he slipped his tongue in.

He threw the water bottle onto the floor, and placed his hands gently on my waist. He broke the kiss and traced my neck with his soft lips. The feeling of his breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine.

All the feelings that I was unsure about before, changed and I was certain that I did like Shikamaru. A lot at that.

I push the tall boy onto the bed before climbing on top of him. I then trace his jawline in kisses. He placed his hands back onto my waist.

Our lips reconnected, and our tongues danced together. I sit him up and break the kiss to remove his shirt, revealing his toned abs.

Before anything else happened, I hear a light knock on the door. "Tem are you in there." I hear Tenten speak. Shikamaru and I look at eachother in panick, realizing what we just did.

"Yeah one sec!" I shout to her. I quickly jump off of Shikamaru and throw him his shirt before running to the mirror to make sure my hair wasn't messy.

When I got to the mirror, I realized a mark on my neck. "Shikamaru you idiot!" I whisper yell at him. He was still trying to put his shirt back on when I noticed some marks on him too.

"How could we be so stupid!" I whisper to myself. "I quickly grab a hoodie from my closet and put it on, making sure that my neck was covered. "Act normal." I say before opening the door.

"Hey Tenten, what are you doing here?" I ask, with sweat droplets dripping down my face. Tenten was standing there with Neji, Hinata, and Naruto right beside her.

"Well, you invited us here, remember?" she says teasingly. "Oh, hey Shikamaru." she says looking over my shoulder. Neji had his eyebrow raised and was looking at Shikmaru and I strangely.

"Hi Tenten." Shikamaru waves. I let the four of them into the room and close the door. "Okay, so what were you two doing in here?" Neji asks. "What do you mean?" I ask him nervously.

Naruto looked confused about what he was talking about. "Well first of all you guys took forever to answer the door, second of all, his shirt is on backwards, and third of all, he has four hickeys on his neck." the tall boy says gesturing over at Shikamaru.

"For a genius, your really an idiot." I whisper to Shikamaru, who was fixing his shirt. "Wait... we're you guys doing the "special dance"??" Naruto gasps. "No no no, you have the wrong idea." I say, nervously scratching my neck.

"Leave her alone Naruto. Just as you wouldn't want people to know your business, you don't need to know theirs." Tenten speaks. "And don't worry, we won't tell anyone." Hinata reassures me.

"Do you guy want us to give you some privacy?" Hinata speaks quietly. "Yeah, let's give them some time." Tenten says as she walks out and everyone follows behind her, before the last person closes the door.

"That did not just happen." I say as I sit down on the edge of the bed and hold my head. " I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you. This never would have happened." I hear Shikamaru say.
