•Shikamaru Pov
  It was lunch time, and I was with Naruto and Sasuke. "What are you guys doing after school?" Naruto asks while he eats his Ramen. "I'm going to the mall with Sakura." Sasuke says. "I might ask Hinata if she wants to go out and do something with me too." Naruto says as he continues to slurp up his Ramen. "What about you Shikamaru?" Sasuke asks. "I have to babysit my god daughter." I reply in a lazy tone. "Aw, how old is she now?" Naruto asks sounding interested. "She's about to be 8 months." I reply.

  As we are sitting down at our lunch table, I felt two hands on my shoulders, so I turned around. "Hey Shikamaru!" "Hey Naruto! "Hey Sasuke!"Shiho, Shion, and Karin say in flirty tones. Sasuke and I nod hello, while Naruto waves. "So what are you guys talking about?" Shiho says as she try's to touch my hair, before I move my head. I just stay quiet and Sasuke does too. "Nothing really." Naruto says as he goes back to eating his Ramen. Karin walks up to Sasuke, and starts running her fingers on his shoulders. "Stop that Karin. I have a girlfriend." Sasuke says sternly, as he scoots away. "I don't see what Sakura has that I don't." Karin says, sounding cocky. "Well Naruto, are you still crushing on that Hinata girl?" Shino asks in a flirty way. "Yeah, we are dating now!" Naruto says sounding proud. "Oh." the girl says sounding upset. "Hey Shika, you want to go for ice cream after school?" Shiho asks me while trying to give puppy dog eyes. Before I could answer Naruto blurts out, "Why are you making that weird face?" sounding genuinely confused. She just gives him a stink eye then looks back at me. "Sorry, i'm busy after school." I say trying not to sound rude as I get up and wave Naruto and Sasuke goodbye.

  I kind of felt bad for leaving them there with those troublesome girls, but it would be a drag for me to have to deal with them too. As I was walking, I saw Ino, Hinata, and Temari. "Hey Shika!" Ino says as she and Hinata greet me with a hug. "Hey." I respond. Temari gives me a friendly smile as a greeting, and I wave her hello. "So where are you going?" Hinata asks me in a low voice. "I don't know, I'm just walking." I respond. "Where are Naruto and Sasuke? Your usually with them." Ino questioned. "Yeah I was with them a second ago, but some girls came up to bother us, so I just left." I state. "Oh." Ino says laughing. "Then you could just walk with us!" Hinata offers.

  We all start walking. As we were walking some guys came up to us. "Hey." One of them say in a flirty way as they brush the hair out of Hinata's face. She looked visibly uncomfortable as the guy touched her. "Please don't touch me." she said softly. The guy just ignored what she said and shh'd her before grabbing a hold of her waist. I was about to step in, but Temari beat me to it. She punched the boy to the ground. "She said don't touch her. Geez what is wrong with the guys at this school." the blonde says as she looks down at him. One of his friends help him up and they walk away. I'm not going to lie, i'm impressed that she could knock down a big guy like that. "Are you okay Hinata?" I ask while Ino walked next to the girl and held one of her hands. " Yeah i'm good." the shy girl replies.

"Lunch is almost over, Hinata and my class is in the other side of the school, so we are gonna start walking there. Bye!" Ino says as she walk off with Hinata. But before she walked off I could have sworn I saw her smirk at Temari. "We should start heading to class too." Temari says, not looking at me. As we walked, there was an awkward silence in the air. "Are you ready for the exam today?" I ask, trying to break the quietness. "What exam?!?" she's asks, sounding panicked. "The one Ebisu sensei told us about last class." I reply. "Oh that one. Yeah i'm ready." she says still sounding like she was trying to hide the fact she was scared.

  When we walked into class, there were only about 6 other people there so far. "Hey Shikamaru, hey Temari." Sai says with a fake smile. "Hey Sai." we both respond. I go sit down in the back of the class and put my head down. "Good afternoon class! Today we will be taking an Exam. I will give you guys 5 minutes to study the study guides. Also, the study guides will be turned in and taken as a grade." Ebisu Sensei says, which wakes me up from the short nap I was taking. I studied already last night, so I don't really feel the need to study again right now, so I just slightly scanned the pages of the study guide. Ebisu sensei then comes up to collect all the study guides, then passes out the exams. "Okay, you all have until the end of the period to complete this. I will be emailing you guys your scores by the end of the day. Now begin." he says as he sits down at his seat. When I flip through the packet, I see that there were only 20 questions. I finished in about 10 minutes, so I used the rest of my time to just relax.
