This Cat is hard to pursue

He took a deep breath and step out of the bathroom.

Slowly he walks to Hanz's side, looks at him lovingly, and speaks in a sad tone.

"I was really worried hearing the news. I- I thought that something really, really bad happens to you, my mind was full of what if's. I'm sorry if I caused you unease or if- if you think I'm playing games. Bao- Ge, I said before that love is a hindrance to my success but-"

He choked on his words, tears flowing from his eyes, "but that night when I saw you, I knew that you are my soulmate and success is nothing if I don't have my soulmate with me. Ge, can you give me a chance to pursue you? And if all my actions & love didn't move you a little then I'll stop bothering you..."

Saying this he falls down on his knees and raises his right hand to cover his crying face, "Ge, it hurts hearing you will never like me. It's my first time loving someone and I don't know what to do. I wanted to act as if I didn't hear it but I'm afraid I lose you without even trying."

Hanz, who was still closing his eyes, listens to the man sobbing. Is this how pathetic he is too? Crying over someone who never wants him, who rejects him. Of all people, he is the one who understands his feelings the most.

Without hearing a response, Simon pushed himself up, wipe his tears, and said, "I will let you rest now. Take care and eat something." He strides slowly to the door, nods goodbye to Jay, and opens the door.

"Bring me chicken soup tomorrow. I will only eat what you bring."

Simon turns back in a flash, with a brimming and crying face he answered, "I'll be here at the earliest time of the day."

Then he happily leaves and returns home.

"I thought you said you will never like him? What's with the chicken soup" 

Jay was just listening in the corner, a speck of dust who wasn't even spared a single glance by the two actors of the drama he just witnessed.

"Quite. I'll sleep back." Hanz was too tired but at the same time don't want to answer any interrogation from Jay.

"Just to inform you, you and Simon are now trending on Twibo. You post something after we talk, I wasn't even done editing your official statement."

"It's a given. You saw how he look, people will gossip about it." 

He already knew upon seeing Simon, that people will gossip. If they gossip then let them gossip. 

"Please, I want to sleep."

Jay turns off the light, wear his earphone and lie down on the sofa.

Simon wasn't able to sleep that night. His mind was busy thinking of the food that he needs to prepare for his XiaoGe. Just the thought of it makes him giggle in excitement. 

Does this mean Hanz allowed him to pursue him? Happiness makes his heart flutter so much.

ring ring ring ring

Looking at his phone, he knew that the person on the other line will nag him tirelessly again so he prepares himself, sat down, and answer the phone.

"Hey, Ken! What's up?" 

Ken who was calling him the whole night was so stressed after seeing the trending topic.

"What's up?! It's your second time trending along with Hanz now. Care to explain?" 

Well, Ken is his assistant and his manager. He is a new actor so there is not enough budget to pay for two people besides Ken can do both perfectly.

"We should talk in person but to give you a heads up, I'm pursuing Hanz." Simon's voice turns serious.

"Are you sure?" Ken was stupefied but he knows his preference. He knew about it the first day they met. Simon was honest with him but he does not detest any boy-girl tandem.

"I am. I'm serious about him Ken and if I have to choose now, I'll choose him." his words were a little firm yet lack of force.

"Does he feel the same?" worry came to him after hearing that tone from Simon.

"He said he won't like me back but then he also said after that he will only eat the chicken soup I'll bring tomorrow." a small laugh was heard after he said that phrase.

"Then let's talk tomorrow. You better rest now." he wanted to nag him but all the things he wanted to say were all lost in the air. 

Ken is somehow, attracted to Simon but he keeps it professional. Hearing this confession from him hurts his heart so much.

The next day, Simon arrived at the hospital at five AM, afraid that Hanz will wait for him too long and will starve. No, his baobei should not starve.

"He's still sleeping?" Simon asks Jay in a very, very low voice.

"Hmmm. Good thing you're here early, can I leave you here for a while? I'll freshen up then return after two hours." he wasn't able to return home yesterday and didn't bring any clothes to change to.

"Sure. Take your time." 

And he will take his time.

He set down the food on the table and sit in front of Hanz. He swears that Hanz is the most beautiful man he ever laid his eyes on. The beauty that even a fairy can't compare or deity. He's so beautiful that he wanted to hold this man forever in his arms, take care of him, and love him unconditionally.

He moves his hand to caress Hanz's hair gently while looking at him with so much care and love. 

"Why did I fall for you? I really pray that you'll love me too. I'll wait" he speaks in his breath afraid to wake the sleeping man in front of him.

He was about to leave and transfer to the sofa when his hand was caught by this beautiful man.

"I love you so much. Please, don't leave."
