"Areum?" Her stomach swirls at the familiar voice echoing throughout her apartment.
The way her name rolls off the tip of his tongue like melting butter had her eyes glistening with want and desire.
"Jimin!" Areum leaps up at the sight of him, veins pumping with adrenaline while he gazes down at her with adoration.
"How was Busan—" Jimin's question gets cut short once Areum flings herself against his chest, arms snaking around his waist.
She felt comfortable against him, safe.
Jimin slightly stumbles back with the impact, yet an unexpected smile creeps its way onto his lips at the girl sticking to him like glue.
He refrains from placing his hands on her body.
As much as he wanted to, he knew he couldn't.
"Mm, I missed you." Despite Jimin's refusal to hug her back, he'd be kidding himself if he said he hadn't missed her too, at least a tiny bit.
His heart jumps in his chest as he takes in her alluring scent.
"Yeah yeah, now get off before I have to kill you for creasing my shirt." Jimin's tone is playful and light, something Areum couldn't get enough of.
She enjoyed pushing and teasing him.
It distracted her from reality, and that was something she'd always be grateful for.
"Not if I decide to kill you first." Areum gazes up at him with glistening eyes and a wide smile plastered to her glossy lips.
Jimin's words only make her want to be even closer to him, and so, she does exactly that.
Jimin groans when she presses her body further against his, chest to chest, thighs to thighs.
She wanted more, needed more.
"You're sensational, you know that right?" Areum nods knowingly with joy filling her heart.
But the joy doesn't last long when Jimin pushes her aside, detaching his body from hers.
She huffs in annoyance, lips forming a subtle pout while her cat-like eyes narrow in on him.
"Just not sensational enough, darling." Jimin clicks his tongue before sending Areum a wink, to which her brows knit together in confusion.
She was used to this behaviour from Jimin, yet it still caught her off guard.
Every.
Single.
Time.
"You're no fun." Areum slyly crosses her arms over her chest, knowing her words would tick Jimin off.
He simple turns to face her, one brow climbing higher than the other as he leans against her kitchen island.
"I'm no fun?" Jimin gestures towards himself, words rolling off the tip of his tongue in a slow and sensual manner.
"Nope." Areum shakes her head profusely, popping the 'p' as she does so.
"I want someone to play with and you're refusing."
"I'll be dead before I play with you." Jimin scans Areum from head to toe.
She was nothing but a little girl in his eyes, a little needy girl whom, despite the irritation she fed him, he couldn't help but admire.
"Besides, you don't have time for playing. I'm sending you on another trip."
