You can't actually tell what was going on but you was sure that this was a really, really bad situation. Unexpected comes before that too. Everything was going well before that. You found out where Yerim was held captive and successfully infiltrate the base and rescued Yerim with the help of others.

You guys also found the connection between the kidnappers and a mysterious figure pulling the strings behind. And you were going to find that person.

But seems like that has to be postponed. Not when you're stuck in another situation with someone holding a gun just by your head. One small mistake could lead to the worse thing ever.

Yet, that someone was someone you trusted. Someone you believed. You grip at the edge of the table, breathing bursting in and out quietly. You broke into a cold sweat, the hair at the back of your nape had stand up.

There was silence before you feel the tip of the gun pressed harder against your head as a sign.

A sign of warning that is.

“ Take your hands off the table. do something, I'll shoot. ” You paled and swallowed, taking your shaking hands off the table.

“ Put your hands up. ” You obeyed, slowly lifting your hands in the air. There was another silence as if Saerom pondering on what to do. The silence turns eerie that you could even hear the way Saerom shifted her grip on the gun. The sound rang in your ear which make you flinch unintentionally.

A minute goes by and you were starting to question as to what the fuck is Saerom doing? Is this some kind of prank that you didn't know? But when you look over your shoulder a bit, the look in her eyes wasn't friendly.

It was dark. Malicious intent hidden behind that brown iris as it hardened, glaring back at your weary look.

She pressed the gun against your head, forcing you to turn away. “ I said don't fucking move or I'll shoot. ” She growled and you heard a small click.

You obliged and swallowed, irked by the feeling of sweat running down your face. Another minute went by and you started to feel anxious. What in the world is this girl doing?

“ Hey Sae. ”

“ I said don't move. ”

“ I'm not moving idiot. what are you doing? ”

“ None of your business. ”

“ Hey, i'm trying to tell you that we've been here for 10 minutes now. if you plan to kill me or something, better do it fast. the others w—

“ Can you shut up? ” She scowled and you rolled your eyes. If you were being honest, you find Saerom the least dangerous among others. Even Yeojin is better at threatening you with a paper-knife.

But you were aware that your life is on the line and Saerom isn't exactly known for her mercy. She could pull the trigger if you somehow triggered her. You exhaled heavily at the reminder.

“ My hand hurts. ”

“ Jesus, no shit sherlock. that'd what I was aiming for! ” she half-yelled.

“ Seriously, if you don't shut up, I will put a bullet through your head. ” she pressed the gun on your head again and at this point, you were starting to get irritated.

Even in this kind of situation, you just can't ignore Saerom. So that's why you shut up and instead let your mind think.

Why was Saerom doing this? If she was threatened or blackmailed, there would have been signs of it. Saerom isn't the type of person who bottle up her worries and thoughts.
