It had been one day since Yerim disappeared.

The officer and backed away when Jungeun slammed her hand down on the table, a loud sound echoed through the deserted station. The officer cowered at the sight of Jungeun's teeth-baring and her face scrunched as she stared down at him with overwhelming pressure.

Jiwoo and Hyunjin watched with crooked smiles and sweats streams down their neck. " Remind me not to get Jungeun mad. " Jiwoo said.

" Noted. " Hyunjin replied, the corner of her mouth twitching as she watches Jungeun devoured the poor guy with only her eyes. She wanted to laugh at how terrified the officer looked while signing the file for Yerim's disappearance.

The deafening silence was cut off when the guy yelped after Jungeun snatched the file away from him to give a check on it.

She stared at the file with an unreadable expression before whipping her head and glared at the officer who was shaking before she took one of the pens and then signed it.

She closed the file nudged it towards the guy who took it with such shaky hands that Jiwoo wouldn't be surprised if he had already wet his pant. She internally cringes at the thought.

Jungeun sent one hard glare and raised her hand when the guy shrieked and covered himself with the file. Jungeun smirk internally at his reaction before walking away while he was still in that position.

Hyunjin snorted while Jiwoo giggled mockingly as the three walked out of the station like they were some type of villain.

" I guess you got it. " Jiwoo commented as they entered the car. Jungeun let out an amused hum while Hyunjin shoots her a curious look.

" I still wondered how that guy got to be a police. " Hyunjin said nonchalantly, eyes staring out the window.

Jiwoo let out a really loud laugh, " Man, if Jungeun had stayed any longer he would have for sure wet his pant. " Jiwoo grimaced while pulling on her seatbelt.

Jungeun gave a small scoff, eyes darting on the road in front of her. " That was me and he was already close to wet his pant. Imagine if Vivi or Sooyoung came. He would have dug his own grave. " she states which Jiwoo nods.

" Vivi and Sooyoung are really scary when they're mad. I would never want to see them mad. " Hyunjin spoke.

Jiwoo blew a loud laugh at her, clapping and saying that she was right. Jungeun just gave a smile that was close to a smirk as she tuned out Jiwoo's and Hyunjin's arguments.

You groan out loud, fingers reaching up to pinch the bridge of your nose while shutting your eyes. Saerom looked up from her laptop, eyebrows turning down and a frown on her face. The exhaustion was clear on your face with all the dark bags under your eyes and the constant yawns that came every few minutes.

" You should rest! " Hayoung shouted from afar, bouncing up from her seat before disappearing into her cubicle. You shake your head with your lips pressed tight.

You ran your fingers through your hair, relief that it was still smooth even after days of not going back home.

" For god's sake. " You bang your head against the table, some of the papers falling onto the floor. " There's literally nothing. It's a dead end. " You muttered, bringing your hand into your face.

Anxiety and exhaustion crept up between your bones, you growing even more exhausted with all the work tying with the recent case that always just has a dead end.

" You should really rest. It's been three days and I don't think I've seen you sleep. " Saerom advised with a frown, eyes darting at you.

" And for the fact that you don't drink coffee makes it 10 times scarier. " Jihoon grimaced while drinking his coffee.
