after all of that, you wanted to go back but yeojin kept insisting you stay with and she threatened you that if you don't, she's gonna run off somewhere.

you scoffed, “ yeojin, you're not hyejoo. that kid is the one who always runs off ”

“ wha— just-just stay, will you?! i need my time alone with you! ” she stomped her feet like a child demanding for her stuff.

you crossed your arms and looked down at her. you two kept staring at each other before yeojin whined and crossed her arms.

you sighed afterward and grab yeojin's hand to intertwined hers with yours. her pout was becoming less visible and she kept avoiding your eyes. you chuckled and poked her head.

both of you walked around the mall as you watch yeojin observed every part of it. you almost choked when her eyes lit up at the ice cream shop. she is still a kid. you thought and shake your head with a smile on.

“ really? ice cream in the morning? you'll gonna get a brain freeze ” you joked and yeojin scowled at you. that got you laughing before you point at the ice cream shop. “ okay, okay let's get this baby some ice cream so she can feel frozen ”

yeojin slapped your arm making you laugh even louder. you told yeojin to sit down and wait while you take the order. but the girl refused to and insisted to take the order instead.

“ cmon, give me it. i wanna do it myself ” she said, gesturing you to hand over the money.

you gave up in the end and let her do it while you sit on the bench. it kind of felt awkward since you were used to doing most of the things but it also felt refreshing for someone else to help do it.

yeojin came back later with two ice cream in her hand before she hands one to you.

you and yeojin sat on the bench and began eating as you watch yeojin demolished the whole ice cream in seconds. you stared in amazement as she went to wash her mouth and hand.

“ damn ” you whispered and continued eating yours.

minutes later, you finished and went to wash your hands while yeojin wait. “ okay let's go ” yeojin mumbled and you walked beside her.

“ anywhere else you wanna go? ” you asked with your head leaning in. yeojin think for a second. “ the nearby park ” you nod.

moments later, you arrived at the park with yeojin. there were a few people around. an elderly couple, two girls, a woman, and two kids running around.

you looked around cause you didn't really visit the park behind the mall. it was spacious for sure. a lot of things were set there. a fountain, benches at every corner, there were swings and some food stands.

you stopped as yeojin also did. from afar, you spot a girl standing while playing her phone. you can't help but feel like you knew who it was.

you turn to look around and spot someone, a girl near a food stand not far from you and yeojin.

you also felt like you know who she was. your gut was telling that there was something wrong but you couldn't quite pinpoint it.

regardless, you were already late to prevent anything when yeojin jumped and shout. “ JUNGEUN UNNIE, SOOYOUNG UNNIE HURRY! ” yeojin shouted and hug you.

you looked around confused as the girl who was looking at her phone suddenly was revealed to be jungeun and the girl that was at the food stand was revealed to be sooyoung.

no wonder i thought i knew them. and WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?

you panicked as sooyoung and jungeun ran from their spot to were and you where you and yeojin stood. she was hugging you tight to keep you in place.

jungeun came crashing in as she holds you tight. you stumbled backward and let out a soft ‘ Oof ’ and another when it was sooyoung.

the four of you stayed there quietly before you sighed. “ what are you three trying to do? ” you asked and they all shake their heads.

“ you're not going anywhere ” yeojin whined.

“ we're gonna wait until yerim and the others arrived,” jungeun said, squishing her cheeks onto your shoulder.

“ we're trying to kidnap you ” sooyoung blatantly said and you looked at with the ‘ are you serious ’ face.

you grumbled and slipped your hand out. “ you know i can do this, right? ” you said as your free hand pushed sooyoung's head down.

the girl whined in pain, “ okay okay okay that hurt! let go! ” she wailed and broke her hug. your hand went to yeojin's side and poked her.

you tried not to giggle when she jumped in surprise and also broke the hug. you turned to jungeun as her face was written with fear. she tried to back away but you launch at her in a bear hug.

“ free hugs for jungeun,” you said with a smile. jungeun felt embarrassed as blood rushed to her face but found herself loving the small bear hug.

“ HEY! THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MY HUG! ” you heard both hyejoo and yerim shouted as they sprint towards you. jungeun panicked and tried to get out but then you held her tighter.

“ j-jiyeon? ” she was flustered. you smirked, “ HA REVENGE! ” and shouted as jungeun looked at you and then at the two kids that were approaching.

hyejoo and yerim tackled the two of you on the ground. jungeun yelped while you laughed as hyejoo and yerim fight against each other.

jungeun realized her face was too close to yours and was surprised. but you cupped her face and kissed her forehead. you cackled when it was the first time you ever saw jungeun as red as a tomato.

this is so fun.
