Castiel's POV
'How dare he.' Castiel thought to himself. 'How fucking dare he make fun of one of the few things that makes me genuinely happy.'
Castiel was furious. He actually thought that maybe he and Dean could be friends. But why would he say that? Castiel was used to people making fun of his music taste but Dean?
Suddenly he realized that maybe he wasn't mad, but maybe it was a crippling sadness that he was experiencing.
Dean, the Dean that he had wanted to talk to all day, really was the dick that Gabriel painted him out to be. Dean was the kind of person who made fun of Castiel's music taste. But Castiel had really thought that his and Dean's friendship would be different.
Castiel shook off the feeling as he went into his room and started his homework.
---
After about two hours of homework, Castiel heard keys playing with the lock downstairs and his heart sank. His aunt was home.
"Casstiell?" She slurred, she had obviously been at the bar.
"Hello Aunt Abaddon." Castiel said as he popped his head out of his bedroom.
"Sweetie come down stairs." She said in a tone of both demand and love. "I've been gone all day, give me some love." She pouted and held her arms open for a hug.
Castiel crept down the stairs and into his relative's arms, which before he knew it were making their way towards his ass.
"Aw my little Castiel has such a nice tushy." She laughed. Castiel could smell the alcohol she had previously been drinking.
His aunt took Castiel's hand and led him to her bedroom. She started to undress him, touch him. Castiel didn't scream or cry, he was used to it. He knew that if he told anybody he would be torn away from his only family. Not to mention that his aunt had been holding on to the letter Castiel's mother left him before her death for the past five years. He saw her start to undress out of the corner of his eye and then lay him down on her bed.
Castiel knew the drill: 1. fuck, 2. block from his memory, 3. repeat. Mao he sat there staring at the ceiling, waiting until he could begin step two.

Dean's POV
"Seriously Sammy I don't understand what I did wrong." Dean explained to the younger, yet taller Winchester.
"Dean, you don't insult somebody's music taste." Sam started. "From what I could tell, music is an important part of this kid's life and I think that you shouldn't insult him if you want to be his frien-"
"Woah woah woah who said anything about wanting to be friends?" Dean interrupted. "We're just doing a project for history together. We are not friends." Dean scoffed.
Sam gave Dean a look and shook his head, sighing as he looked out the window.
"Whatever you say Dean." Sam said under his breathe.
Dean didn't understand why Castiel had taken what he said so seriously. It was just a joke.
---
After getting home, Dean went into his room and locked the door behind him.
'Why did you have to say anything?' Dean thought. 'You just ruined any possible friendship you could have had with this kid.'
Dean had lied to Sam when he said that he didn't want to be friends with Castiel. But now, he certainly did not.
Dean lay in his bed staring at the ceiling for what feels like forever when Sam knocks on his door. He gets up to unlock it and the younger Winchester is looking up at him with a slight sadness in his eyes.
"What's up Sammy?"
"Dean," Sam began. "Since you don't like Castiel I just wanted to see if it was alright that I stay friends with him. We watch the same shows and it's fun to talks about them with somebody other than Charlie."
Dean smiled and nodded. "Of course Sammy." Dean laughed and ruffled his brother's hair. "I don't have to like all of your friends anyways."
Sam smiled and nodded before heading down the hall to his room to do his homework.
Dean then wondered what it would be like to be friends with Castiel, but shook it off because that was crazy considering how much Castiel despised him now.
But then Dean had a sudden realization. What if, he could make Castiel like him. After all, he was going to be hanging around the house because of Sammy, not to mention Dean hates people hating him.
Dean was going to befriend that blue eyed boy and god damnit he will like it. Dean smiled at his plan as he drifted off to sleep.
