Garroth's Pov:
As I shut the door behind me, I lean against it and plop myself down until I reach wooden tile. I sigh as I pull out a hard rectangler object from my pocket.
I turn on my phone and glance at the time to see it read, 11:32 am, and quickly shut it off.
Ever since we were little, Zane and I always had a love hate relationship, like he does with almost anyone he's close too these days.
We were about in elementary school when I had thrown a snowball at his face, little did we both know that it had contained a small rock. My fault, Ill admit, I had made the snowball from a pile of shallow, dirty snow. I honestly should have known better.
I still to this day don't know if it actually caused permanent damage or not to his eye, but after the incident he had grown out his hair to cover his eye so I had to at least assume as much.
Ever since that day I've been trying to repair my relationship with my baby brother, but nothing had seemed to be working. I understand to why he wouldn't trust me being as I was a complete and total jerk to him when we were younger, but I've changed.
I always brought him home coffee from when me and Laurence had gone out, but he never accepted it. I try to help him make new friends but it always backfires.
I'm starting to think it's a lost cause, I mean Zane and the white-haired cavanosa who was here minutes ago were pretty close in highschool... But it's quite obvious they had drifted apart and neither would even acknowledge anything requarding the subject.
Wait, I glance up and offer a smile to Laurence as he passes by on his way to his room, he waves and continues walking in the direction.
Me and Laurence drifted apart, and now we're closer then ever. It's true, Laurence had left Mystreet traveling around to unknown places for awhile to get his mind off things when Aph and Aaron had started dating.
He had asked me to come with him, but I had refused being as I didn't want to leave Zane alone. Although I couldn't hold back my grin as I quickly bounced up, raced down the stairs and threw on my flannel that was hanging by the door.
I don't even stop to say goodbye to anyone as I frantically try not to loose this grand idea I had just struck in my head.
I take a breath as I stop in front of her house, and knock politely on the door- I know big shock-and that's when the small raven-haired girl opened the door, a cheery grin stuck to her face as she recognized my blonde curly locks of hair.
"Hi Garroth!" She exclaims, pulling me into a hug.
I hug her back and quickly blurt out, "Hey Aph, I was wondering, could do me a favor?"
Zane's Pov:
I wake up to a pounding on the side of my head. I quickly draw my hand up to my ear and rub it. Life tip-don't sleep with an earbud in your ear that is blasting loud music, you'll regret it.
I turn off my song and stand up. I stretch before realizing that I had actually taken a nap. I guess I had apparently needed one.
I crack open my door, looking around for either my idiot brother or Little Laurence, none in sight, I relax my shoulders and walk down the stairs.
I reach into the counter by the fridge and pull out some cearal, about to make myself my first meal of the day when I suddenly hear my phone let out a loud ring.
I groan as I turn on the annoying device and check the caller Id-
APHMAU
Of course. I quickly put both the box and bowl away and run back up to my room before answering.
"Hello?" I more of complain than actually answering.
"Hii! I was wondering if you wanted to come over and play ponies today?"
I brighten up at this idea, maybe today wasn't so bad after all.
"Is that even a question? Of course, what time?"
"Now, as in right now. As in come over here in a few minutes of now. As in-"
"Okay, okay, I get it." I hang up the phone and grab my now semi-dry clothes out the washer, changing quickly before heading out the front door.
I have to admit, yes Aphmau had seemed suspicious, but if she tried to pull off anything I promised myself that I'd just leave.
When I reach her house I'm exhausted. Yes, it might just be about half a mile walk, but I'm lazy.
I knock on the door and before I can even react she pulls me inside.
I look around, expecting some big party or something or other, but it looked pretty much like her house when it was.. Well, normal.
Aaron, who was cleaning up something in the other room waves and I simply give him a hum in response.
"Come on!" she says, a little too cheerfully, grabbing my arm-once again-and dragging me upstairs to her room.
I don't say anything, nor did I even have the chance too, before she opened the door and shoved me inside.
She shut it behind me, and when I tried to open it the door wouldn't budge.
"Grr.. Aphmau! Open the door!"
After not hearing any replies for at least a minute, I run my fingers through my sleek, long raven hair, and lean against the door.
I look around the room, and what I notice fills me with the most dread. I wish I could jump out the window, but I know that would probably resolve in death.
"Gah!" I let out a frustrated growl when he notices my presence as well.
We sit in awkward silence when we both hear a giggle through the door, "Don't just sit there you butt-faces, talk!"
I'm at a loss for words when I hear him try to start conversation.
"Sooo.. How have you been?"
