"You sure you don't need to go home Cali?" Nazarae questioned me on the other side of the bathroom stall.
"I'm fine" I coughed as I wiped away the tears that sat at the rim of my eyes.
I wasn't in the best of shape this morning as I cringed at the hurled chunks of my buttered croissant and coffee in one of the toilets in the bathroom.
For the life of me, I couldn't keep anything down besides Snickers and Sour cream and Onion Cheeze Its.
"Well, we can't have you running off every 5 minutes either sis. If you need to go home, which I do suggest then take it and run with it"
I caught my breath as I flushed the toilet before unlocking the stall and facing Nazarae.
She stared at me with her eyebrows raised and a face saying "Bitch if you don't go home"
"I still have class this afternoon and we have an exam"
"Okay? So go home and rest, study a little bit then go to class but we don't need you here at work vomiting"
"I don't wanna deal with Dr. D" I rolled my eyes as she can be a pain in the ass.
She was definitely a stickler for details as she should be. But sometimes sis just does a little too much but I try to stay on her good side because maybe if she like me enough, she'll higher me as an RN here.
" Dr.Doughty already knows you don't feel well. She's the one who told me to come in here and send you home. she said to get some rest and if the stomach bug that I need to stay home a few days and get it under control"
Yeah, a stomach bug that's gonna be making it self-comfortable for the next 9months in my life.
I sighed as I knew I could use the extra rest and some more time to study so I said fuck it and left after I gathered my things.
I wasted no time going back to my parents' house and getting my life together.
The house was empty just like I wanted it so I could finish packing up a few things from my bedroom. Since I broke the news officially to Kross about me being pregnant, he suggested that I move in with him because we together and he wants to monitor me to make sure I'm ok.
I personally think he wants to control how I eat ever since he watched me crush a whole box of sour cream and onion cheeze itz and two king-sized snicker bars one time when I spent the night.
I've been around his family a lot more since I took three pregnancy tests later that night after I took the first one at my parent's house. Kross's face lit up like It did years ago when he found out I was with child but this time his glow is here to stay.
