Baby just, oh just." I sung lowly to myself as Teyana Taylor played through my Beats pill.
I tossed my laptop into my Longchamp tote bag as I got myself ready to go to this Jatavia girl house. I spent the night in my old bedroom since I was already at my parent's house since they literally were right up the street from how close she stayed.
I felt good this Saturday morning after having a night of fun with my family.
I even got the chance to speak to Phoenix since she's at that age where boys are interested in other than playing video games.
"You gonna eat before you leave?" Mom asked me as she poked her head in my room.
"What did you make?"
"Butter croissants, cheese eggs, bacon, and grits"
"Did you sprinkle a little sugar in them?"
"You know it boo"
"Well then make me a plate then ma" I smiled, making her smile too.
She nodded her head before disappearing and heading downstairs and I followed behind her a few moments later.
I entered the kitchen to see Jaiden sitting at the table with his curly hair all over his head wearing his Paw Patrol pull ups and Duck slippers.
Daddy sat next to him wearing a white Ralph Lauren polo t-shirt with his blue and white polo PJ's and his in NIKE slides.
"Good morning" I spoke to my dad after kissing Jaiden on his chubby cheeks.
"Morning baby" dad greeted, kissing my cheek.
"Hi teetee" Jaiden said as he grabbed a handful of bacon off his plate.
"Slow down there boy" Dad laughed as he took some of the bacon out of his hand.
"He tryna cram his mouth again?" mom asked, looking over her shoulder.
"You would think Bryson don't feed this damn boy the way he always shoving food in his face" dad shook his head.
"You can tell Gigi if daddy don't feed you" mommy teased.
"Daddy feed me poppy tarts and mommy get mad" he said as he looked at my dad.
"Yeah I bet" Daddy snickered.
I giggled as I took a seat at the table after washing my hands at the sink. I looked around to see the all the food in the middle of the table, making my mouth water as I thanked her.
I quickly fixed my plate and mixed my eggs in with my grits before placing the spoon in my mouth.
I threw my head back with my eyes closed as I savored my mother cooking.
