"So? You want it agonizing or quick and... walang pag-asa?! (hopeless?!)" says the Riot Guard with seriousness as they tighten the grip of their shotgun and aim it at the group, who are standing still.
As everything becomes a standoff between the Warden and The Trio (which consist of Agent Rafe Linrov, Kasey "Bookw0rm" Ufer, and "Deathwatch"), the assassin takes a stance as he looks at his shooter with a glare while the hacker holds onto the agent and lifts him up. Rafe proceeds to pull out his detonator and stare at it for a few seconds, glancing to his friend and tell her:
"Good thing the hub's waterproof." he says with a gritted teeth as he pushes the trigger, causing the C4 on the big pipe to explode and begin its flooding of Sub-Level 4.
Finally done with his objective, he drops the detonator on the floor and sighs in relief... until he gets shot on the side of his stomach, directly grazing onto Kasey's as she almost collapse, causing the assassin to quickly grab the fallen riot shield in response. Something on his mind ticked him off as he stares at the Warden with seriousness, tightening the grip of his pistol as his mind is filled of determination.
"Get yourselves to safety..." Deathwatch says with a threatening tone as he proceeds to turn to them, angrily yelling, "... NOW!"
Seeing how tensed he is, Kasey nods in fear and pulls Linrov away from the fight, prompting the Warden to smirk at the assassin's sudden desperation. In response, he fires a burst at the two until Deathwatch blocks it with his riot shield, who intends to return fire with his pistol.
The riot guard, who accompanies the Warden, pulls up their shotgun and fires at the charging assassin. In reaction, he blocks the shot but lowers his head as the few pellets go through the open hole. He takes note of the riot guard's potential and bash his shield onto the guard's visor, creating a crack that temporarily blinds them. He then kicks the guard's shotgun out of their hands and proceed to shoot the Warden, leading him to dodge and step back as he tries to get a perfect shot.
Back to the two, Kasey sets Rafe down behind a wall as he rapidly takes a deep breath from the pain he's receiving. Although the bullets to his leg and stomach got through, the agent pulls out a roll of bandages and wraps it to his leg. As he tends to his own wounds, the hacker leaves him for a bit and watches the fight through a peek. There, she witness the assassin's moves as he drops the shield and pulls out his knife.
"Deathwatch's got the Warden situation handled. What should we do?" Kasey ask in concern as both of their comms pick up the voice of Kingslayer.
Hearing his serious tone on the radio, he tells them, "Report's team have already got up to Sub-Level 4 with their HVP. Unless you've already detonated the marked pipe, you must get the elevators ready."
"Copy that." he responds once he activates his comms, feeling the room beginning to rumble as indication that the floor is starting to crack. However, he finally reveals, "Unfortunately, we got our own objectives that needs addressing."
