[An Hour Later]

"Hold still..."

(Pulls out bullet)

"GAH! Bakit ko siya pinakinggan?! (Why did I listen to her?!)"

"Just calm down! (drops bullet on tray) I'll be done in no time."

(picks up needle)

"Ugh... why do I still have a phobia for this?"

"Ano?"

(stitches wound)

"SH*T!"

Quirino Elementary School. Having seen better days during the 1980s, the school houses many programs to educate students, even preparing them for a better transition to high school. History about its past has presented the school in a good light. No reports of scandals or underground movements... so far.

However in 2004, a skirmish between Accord and Loyalist forces took place after the former discovers a sphere of influence to the latter's side, breaking Quezon City's agreement to remain neutral in their eyes. Many students and teachers were safely evacuated but a number of them got caught in the crossfire, resulting so much casualties that even the Neutral government condemned the Accord for it to happen. In the aftermath of quelling the Loyalists, fear takes a hold of many as Loyalist sympathizers are marked as a threat. The event led many parents to take their kids away and trigger a wave of resignation forms from the faculty members of Quirino. In 2007, the school eventually shuts down and left abandoned by the headmaster, who takes the blame for not reacting early. Even saying this, many of its equipment, furniture, and books are still left behind as they felt that it's not worth it.

On the following year, that's when many refugees and transients flock to Quirino and make it their home.

A shelter for the displaced, the former school gradually becomes a community of comradery and survival as Ex-Loyalists/refugees abandon their former values and look after each other -- whether they are an Accord or not -- as the world continues on. Many of the students, who graduated from Quirino years ago, have devoted to support these people, teaching the kids for free and helping the adults find legal jobs to support themselves. Despite past events, officials in Quezon remain adamant in taking in refugees and sheltering them from the Loyalists and, if it comes down to it, the Accord.

After escaping the clutches of the JSDF, in response to the EDSA Convoy Heist, the Halimaws and the injured Recruit fled the scene and made their way to the shelter. Once they've arrived, the team makes haste using the traffic and get inside the perimeters without anyone spotting them. Inside, the team links up with the stationed Katipunans and plan their next objectives with the recovered intel. For Deathwatch, due to being on the driver seat, he went further ahead to the city, hoping to uncover something that he came here for. Good thing for him: he's not part of the overall operations, allowing the assassin to do as he pleases until he receives an order.
