"Just saying... you're gonna miss out. Magkakaroon kami ng mga beer, pizza, at adobo para sa aming gutom na mga tummy! (We're gonna have beers, pizza, and adobo for our hungry tummies!)"
"I would love to join, but I'm still worried about the mafia. They've been..."
"Hold it! (whispers) Car nearby."
As he said it, a black sedan drives into Mayaman Street and makes a pass... allowing one onlooker to notice the passenger's AK-47s and Uzis sticking out in view.
"See what I mean?"
"Mamahinga, kaibigan. (Relax, buddy.) As long as we don't mess with them, we're safe."
"Sana naman. Halika na! Nagugutom ako sa ilang Burger King. (Let's hope so. Come on! I'm hungry for some Burger King.)"
"Oh yeah! Hindi makapunta sa isang pagdiriwang na pinupuno ang aming mga sarili ng mga hamburger. (Can't go to a party with stuffing ourselves with hamburgers.)"
Hearing the guy's optimism as they have decided their next destination, the onlooker looks at them with a glance and forms a frown, having guesses that their party will not bode well for them. Criminals roam the streets, CCTV cameras on every direction, and lack of police commitment in these parts. The gangsters here have power and it's only a matter of time till the authorities have enough and decide that they should accept the Accord's help. Despite this fact, the shaded man doesn't give them a suggestion and walk past them without a doubt, not saying a word and keeping himself quiet.
"Alright..." said the shaded man as he turns to the building on his left and grins.
"... Ito ang lugar. (This is the place.)"
[Diliman District, Quezon City]
As I approach my destination, I take a glance from the street and scan for any eyewitnesses or security cameras, hoping that the Accord, and possibly the Mafia, don't know my intentions. If any of them find out that I'm heading to my first clue, my objective will become more tedious if they do.
Diliman is a district that's been heavily monitored by the police. It's high crime rates were the result of what these Russian gangsters produce in their stay. Loyal to only their nationality and greed, the Mafia holds no allegiance to their government, opting instead to use their criminal connections to power themselves and their lackeys. With drug production, arson attacks, and a number of kidnappings on the district's university, it leaves a lot of questions for why these civvies still live here... especially for why Linrov's intel leads me here.
Once the coast is clear, I toss the briefcase over the fence and follow suit by climbing over. I then land on the other side and re-acquire my briefcase, heading down the slope and into the parking lot. After surveying the area, I open my bag to get the files, looking through it's contents until reaching to my notes -- with Linrov's corrections in place.
