[Boy Scout Circle - South Triangle, Quezon City]

As an Accord soldier, we were given the important task of protecting our citizens. Keeping criminals and terrorists at bay. Ensuring ourselves that we have the strength to win our battles. It's the lesson I hold when keeping myself level-headed, even when the situation is tough.

For this op, those rules will be put to the test -- and it'll not just be me who has to follow them.

...

As our van keeps circling around the roundabout road as normally as possible, I inspect my M4A1 and ensure that the attached sight and grip doesn't fall off. After setting my rifle, firmly, onto the palm of my left hand and tap my helmet with my right, I look towards the fighters who are with me and bang the van's interior to get their attention.

(bang!)

"Listen up!" I yell to them as their eyes draw on me, slightly leaving me hesitant until I tap the second rifle behind my back and get back to focus. "Do you know why we're here?"

The fighters keep their mouth shut for a full second until one of them answers, "Simple: magdulot ng maraming kaguluhan hangga't maaari at ilabas si Vasil Glaskov(cause as much chaos as we can and draw out Vasil Glaskov.)"

"It shouldn't be that hard to do, right?" The second fighter states as he keeps a grip on his rifle, making a quick nod on me.

"It shouldn't." I said with confidence as I check my M17 pistol and make sure that the safety's are off. "After all, Report gave us the spots for the operation. If we hit them all with enough speed and coordination, we'll pinpoint Vasil's location and shift focus to the area he's in -- trapping him like a bunch of Toms against a Jerry."

The first fighter looks at me with a raised eyebrow and ask, "Maybe a bit insensitive to ask... but are you really ready to scare off some civvies?"

Most of the fighters look at him with a worried look on their faces.

"Dude..." one of the fighters whisper in concern.

"I'm just asking! Since you're Ex-Accord, I thought..." he said with a mix of fear and seriousness until I place my arm on his shoulder and look at him with no anger in my expression, displaying myself to not be affected.

"It only becomes a problem if we deviate our main objectives. Not one civilian gets harmed or killed. Got it?" I said with a serious, but warming, tone as the fighter sighs in relief and tightens the grip of his AK.

I quickly add, "Just keep your head focused. Helps your mind become clear."

"Got it." he nods as afterward, the van makes a stop and cause us to maintaain our seating.

Once stopped, me and the other fighter take the opportunity to look out the window and see that we've parked within the circle, where the monument's located. Number of tourists -- who were taking pictures of it -- now begin to step closer to our vehicle and prompt us to step back. Luckily, the windows are tinted but if we don't make our move now, the element of suprise will be gone.
