27. Rita, CM fairy of Galaxies

Meanwhile, Rita and Tina were searching for the 5th crystal moon. "It has to be here!" exclaimed Tina. "The books and the map said so!" "It could be false," Rita stated, looking in the bushes. "Even books are known to contain lies." Just then, flashes of blue, red, pink, and green & black mist swept through Metorn City, people who remained outside running to their houses or buildings, screaming. "Rita, Tina!" Ella called. "Sprucer has summoned a plunder reed and it's taking over the city!" "Who's Sprucer?" Tina asked, confused. "The demon Akuya man we're fighting!" Ella replied. "Now go and save everyone before chaos spreads!" Then, black thorny vines the shot up from the ground and into the air, which then started to spread across the city. The plunder reeds surrounded around buildings and started trapping people. "Oh no!" Tina cried. "I wish I could help, but I don't have a crystal moon like the others!" "Don't worry, Tina," Rita replied. "Neither do I, but if we work together then we can help reduce the spread and save the people."

"You're right," Tina replied. "We may not have strong powers yet, but that doesn't stop us from saving the city!" The 2 then started shooting at the plunder reeds, causing them to break, and freeing trapped citizens. "Great work!" Tina said happily. "Don't celebrate yet," Rita replied sternly. "We have another problem." Then, Sprucer stormed up to the 2 girls and smiled evily. "So, you two are the remaining girls of the group?" he asked in his deep voice. "Yes, and we won't let you harm these innocent people!" Tina shouted confidently. "Oh really?" Sprucer replied. "What about now?" He then clicked his fingers, and black mist surrounded, spreading even more plunder reeds, trapping more people, even the 4 CM fairies. "Aaaaaaa!" they screamed. "What is this?!" Erin cried. "I don't know, but I don't like it!" Ella replied. "Let us go, horn-head!" Maggie shouted. "Heeeelp!" squealed Sheila. "You wicked man!" Rita raged. "What are you planning to do with our friends!" "These vines will slowly drain their energy, which I will collect and give back to mistress O'feara," explained Sprucer. "Then she will become the strongest vampire queen and rule the magic universe!"

"Not if we stop you!" Tina shouted, blasting a powerful amount of magic at the Akuya. "Curse you, fairy!" Sprucer boomed, spreading plunder reeds around her, Rita then destroying them with her magic. "Thanks," Tina replied, clearing up more plunder reeds. "I think we're doing well." "Look out!" Ella weakly called from above. Tina then turned around, her face filled with fear as she was suddenly hit with a blast of black mist. "TINA!!" Rita screamed, her face in horror. She watched as her friend was being tied up in plunder reeds. "Tina, don't do this, I need your help!" Rita cried, scared, running up to her. "Go," Tina replied. "I will be fine. Go and find the 5th moon. I'll hold in for as long as I can." Rita's eyes filled with tears as she watched Tina weaken, then she turned to her other friends, also weakening, and captured. "For my friends," Rita said to herself, then running, destroying vines in her way as she searched for the moon. "Come back here, fairy!" Sprucer yelled, blasting magic at her, Rita dodging. Just then, Rita heard screams from a lady. "Help!" she cried, reeds surrounding her. Rita noticed, then swiftly ran over, and pushed her to the side.

"Thank you princess," the lady replied sweetly. "Get to safety ma'am, it isn't safe at the moment," Rita replied, destroying the vines. After the woman left, black mist surrounded Rita. Huh? she thought. What's happening. "Surprise, fairy," Sprucer grinned. "Enjoy your rest!" Suddenly, vines sprouted from the ground and grabbed Rita's arms and legs, making her lose balance. "WHAT?!" she cried. "You won't get away with this!!" "Bye-bye," cackled Sprucer. "NOOO!!!!!!!" Rita screamed, as she saw her captured friends disappear as the vines drained her energy. "I'm sorry," Rita whispered. "I've failed. Ella, Erin, Sheila, Maggie, Tina... Mother... I'm sorry..." She then fell unconscious afterwards. After, Rita woke up slightly, and moved her hand as far as it could stretch, when she felt something cocooned in the reeds. Huh? she thought. What's that? She then removed it and saw it clearly: it was a dark blue podball decorated with grey spots designed as asteroids. "Hello Rita," a soft familiar voice sounded. Rita opened her eyes clearly and saw a tall figure she recognised. "L-Lune?" she said.

"Press the white circle in the middle, then look inside," Lune instructed. "it's for you." Rita did what she was told and pressed the white circle in the middle of the podball, and inside was a black crystal moon. "The fifth moon?" Rita said, surprised. "Take it," Lune said. "You must use it to save your kingdom." With that, Rita took out the moon and was suddenly surrounded and consumed by a black light, transforming her. Sprucer then looked and was hit by the blinding light, then seeing Rita free from the plunder reeds, however she looked different: Her hair was down and her fringe was slicked back showing both her eyes. She wore a strapless white top with 3 black mini bows going down in the middle of it. She also had a long white skirt, black heels and black & blue wings that looked like space. "Impossible!" Sprucer roared in anger and shock. "How did you escape?!" "Thanks to the power of the 5th moon, I broke free of your spell!" Rita exclaimed. "I am Rita! The Crystal Moon guardian of galaxies! I will destroy you, and save my kingdom's city!" "Enough of this game!" Sprucer shouted, blasting magic. "O'feara must have the 5th crystal moon!"

"Galaxy shield!" Rita called, forming a galaxy-like dome, protecting herself from the magic. "Want to see something next?" she asked in a mocking way. "Space vacuum!" Strong force started pulling Sprucer towards Rita. "What - is - this?!" he choked. "A spell to teach you a lesson!" Rita replied, then stopping. "Now I will free these people! Gas ring!" She then released a force spreading amongst the plunder reeds, crushing them, and freeing people, including the CM guardians and Tina. "What happened?" Ella said, waking up. "Wait," Maggie started. "Is that Rita? In a battle form?!" "She must've found the 5th moon!" Erin exclaimed. "Rita?" Tina said. "You're the next CM fairy?!" "Yes, it's a long story," Rita replied. "But now, I will finish you, Sprucer!" "Try me," snorted the Akuya. "Asteroid Smashdown, Final Strike!" shouted Rita, sending millions of asteroids falling onto the Akuya. "Aaaaaaaaaaaa!" Sprucer screamed. "You'll pay, fairy!" After, he disappeared back where he belonged. Then, the thunder cleared and people returned from sheltering. "Look!" a person called. "It's princess Rita! She saved us!"

Thousands of villagers and citizens surrounded the Rita. "Thank you princess!" someone shouted. "You protected my family from danger!" "Princess, that final move was incredible!" "Princess, may I still have your autograph?" "Ok, my subjects, I am very grateful to save you all," Rita replied. "But my mission must continue, so me and my friends must go now, but I will return." She then detransformed, and the others ran up to her, Ella, Erin, Sheila & Maggie also detransformed. "That was amazing!" Maggie exclaimed. "I've never seen you beat up someone like that!" "It was incredible indeed," Lune added, stepping from the crowds. "Lune!" the 5 girls cried. "I gave Rita the moon to save you all, she had such confidence inside her," Lune explained. "I knew she would make a strong fairy, and it turns out she is the guardian of the galaxy moon!" "Thank you, Lune," Rita replied, smiling. "Awww, you're smiling," Ella stated. "Shush," Rita replied, embarrassed. She then turned to the Metorn City people and said, "I will be heading off, see you soon." "Thank you princess, have a safe journey!" the people called, as Lune teleported the 6 girls and herself to their final destination.

Back at the Akuya castle, things were getting heated. "NOOOOOO!!" O'feara screamed, scratching the wall in anger. "You good, master?" Albetsy said glumly. "No, I am not!" O'feara angrily replied. "Those pesky fairies now have 5 MOONS!" "Oh great," Stacey said in a sarcastic voice. "Your idea didn't work, how sad. Everyone knows Sprucer is not as strong as a normal Akuya!" "Shut up, Stacey," O'feara replied. "The girls are going to Cloudtale, that's where the final moon is. All of us are going, NOW." "Alright, mistress," Albetsy replied. "I'll help." "Same," Stacey added. "Good," O'feara grinned, as the 3 akuyas stepped through the mirror portal...
