13. Miss Elodia's Office

The girls ran down the stairs and they finally found the office after long hours. Only five of the girls ran down. "We made it!" Erin sighed. "I agree," Tina said. "But where is Ella?" Sheila asked. "Oh no! " Maggie panicked. "What if she got lost and someone has kidnapped her??" "Calm down, Magsy, she's gonna be fine," Rita replied, putting her arm on her. "Umm, I'm right here," a voice said, and everyone turned around. It was Ella! "Ella!" the girls replied in relief. "Where were you?" Tina asked. "I took the lift," Ella replied smiling. "Oh, of course you did," Rita said, not surprised. "But look, we're at the office!" Erin stated, pointing to the golden door. Around it was a pink crystal doorframe, and a giant sign above it with the words 'Miss V. Elodia's office' imprinted on it.

"Fancy," Sheila exclaimed. "let's knock." Maggie took her fist and knocked on the door. There was no answer. "She could be doing some important work?" Sheila suggested. "Of course not, if she was, there would be a sign saying so!" Maggie replied, then knocked on the door and again, no answer. "Does this woman have a problem?" Maggie murmured, then she yelled into the door "OPEN UP!" "Calm down, Magsy," Tina replied softly. "We just need to be patient and-" "Nah, let's just break the door down," Rita interrupted. She took her hands, then used her space magic to open the door. "It worked!" cheered Ella. "Now let's go inside." The 6 girls quietly entered the office. They saw pictures of old owners of the mansion, valuable antiques, a magic tea set and Miss Elodia's desk.

"Fancy," Erin whispered. "I wish my house had a study like this.." But then, the girls crashed into each other as Ella stopped in front. "Why'd you stop, Ella?" Sheila inquired, getting up along with the others. "Look," Ella stated, pointing at the desk. The 5 others noticed, then they gasped in horror...
