chapter six⚠️

movie night

Skylers pov:
School was actually okay for once. Its now lunch time and Ethan came to sit by ash and I "Grayson is bringing his girlfriend over tonight and they're gonna have a movie night. I dont want to be a third wheel so after practice want to come over?" Ethan asked.

~"Yeah sure" after that the day went on and then school ended which meant Ethan had football practice while ash and I had soccer practice. Soccer took up a lot of my energy but I still wanted to hang out with Ethan. We met up after practice by his Jeep. ~ "Hey can you drive me by my house real quick so I can change into some comfy clothes?" "i prefer you in my clothes but sure" he smirk as he started the car

My parents friends were gone but my parents were still there, I knew I had to go in or Ethan would get suspicious so I walked out of the house and stopped at the door, praying they were asleep.

But of course they weren't.

Ethan's pov:
Skyler walked up to her house and stopped at the door. She kinda looked scared, but why. She took a second before slightly opening the door. She stuck her head in and looked back at me with a small smile but I could tell she was sad, and with that she closed the door.

Skylers pov:
I could hear glass breaking in their room but i ignored it and just went up to mine. I try to change as fast as I can but by the time I was done they were back in the living room waiting for me. "Where do you think you're going slut?" My mom yelled. I continued to walk to the door but my dad grabbed me and shoved me down. He sat on top of my waist and slapped me across the face. "Don't ignore your mother, that's no way to treat her after everything she's done for you!" He slapped me again and again.
he stood up and kicked me once in the side and left. They walked outside and I heard the car turn on. They must've not have seen Ethan in his Jeep because they just left.

I few minutes later I made myself stand up and go outside to Ethan. I hope my face wasn't red, I didn't look in the mirror before I left. I went outside to see Ethan waiting on his phone but when he heard me close the door he looked up and smiled. "what happened" he asked as i walked up to the car. I had to create a pretty bad lie. What excuses are there for having a red face.

~"I can't tell you, you'll laugh" I said. Starting my terrible lie. "I won't laugh" he said smiling.
~"Yes you will" I said laughing lightening the mood. "I, ethan dolan, pinky promise, I will not laugh." He put his hand on his heart then he stuck out his pinky. I rolled my eyes and gave him my pinky

~"ok ok when I was walking out of my closet I kinda ran into the wall" I said looking down trying not to laugh. He was trying so hard not to laugh but a little laugh escaped his mouth. "you said you wouldn't laugh!" I yelled hitting him while laughing. He just said "oops" and kept laughing. I hit him again and told him to drive. "ow" he held his arm
~"oh c'mon i barely hit you, you big baby"
"yeah yeah" he looked down before talking again.
"So was that your parents walking out of the house?"

~ "Um yeah, yeah it was" I said with my head low "Not to be rude or anything but they looked drunk" ~ "Yeah um they were" "Oh ok" Now this time the car was filled with awkward silence but thankfully we arrived at his house shortly. We walked in and Grayson and his girlfriend were sitting on the couch. Since we got there late they had already chosen a movie, a horror movie. They also made us make the popcorn. So we went into the kitchen and put a bag in the microwave. While waiting I sat on top of the counter and stared at Ethan.

He was wearing a "douche bag shirt" (if yk yk) with some grey sweatpants. Very hot as usual.
"You're staring" he said interrupting my thoughts.
~"I'm gazing" I said back. "It's creepy"
~"It's romantic" I argued. He rolled his eyes and chuckled taking out the popcorn. "whatever you say Banks" We made two bowls one for Grayson and his girlfriend Elle, and one for Ethan and I. Ethan and I sat on one couch and they sat on another. We also had two blankets for all of us to share, so you guessed it, I had to share with Ethan.

10 minutes into the movie and I was already scared. there was a jump scare and I jumped and hid under the blanket. Ethan slowly lifted up the blanket to reveal me but I didn't move. "It's ok babygirl, I'll protect you" he whispered in my ear and pulled me close to him. I immediately snuggled into his chest. Every time I got scared Ethan just held me tighter. We ended up watched 3 more horror movies because it was only 7pm. Grayson drove Elle home at 10 so it was just Ethan and I. i went to the restroom and when I came back instead of snuggling up against Ethan I just sat next to him. But one time I got so scared I literally held onto Ethan so tight and dug my head into his chest. He just laughed and started playing with my hair.

~ "How are you not scared?"I asked against his shirt. "I can't understand you when your mumbling against my chest" he said laughing. I sat up and asked again. He just shrugged his shoulders.
~"This is scary I don't want to watch anyone." I gave him puppy dog eyes and he rolled his eyes and turned it off. "Fine what do you want to do?"
~"Got any board games?" I asked smiling. "Yes we do grandma." He called me grandma! I put my hand on my heart pretending to be offended.

~ "Well I don't think you should be calling a grandma babygirl then." I said back laughing. Suddenly he looked down smiling as his cheeks got red..
