chapter eight

sleepover

skylers pov:
The lights turned on and I turned around. I slapped the figure as Ethan runs in the kitchen. "Ow!"
i look to see grayson standing holding his hand to the side of his face
~"That'll teach you not to sneak up on me!" I yell at Grayson. Grayson just shrugged him shoulders and walked away. As he was walking away I ran to him and jumped on his back. He hurried to hold on to my thighs so I didn't fall. I put my arms around his neck into a light choke hold. I was laughing as I turned to see Ethan with his jaw clenched.

I mentally shrugged it off and jumped off Grayson and ran back to the kitchen to grab all the snacks. I ran back to the living room and jump on the couch. Elle walks out and jumps next to me. "So did Grayson's plan work?" She said. I scoffed and pushed her shoulder

~ "U KNEW?" She just laughed. Grayson sat down next to Elle and turned on the tv. "ETHAN MAKE THE POPCORN!" Grayson yelled. "I dont know how to!!" Ethan yelled back from the kitchen. I laughed, ~ "I swear your brother is so stupid sometimes" I said to Grayson. "Oh I know trust me." He said back. ~"I'll go help him." I made my way to the kitchen to see him looking at the directions. I laughed and took the bag from his hands, our hands slightly touching. He blushed, why did he blush? The heck. I shook it off and put the popcorn in the microwave.

After the popcorn was done Ethan and i went back to the couch, I was in front of Ethan and I heard Grayson and Elle talking. "Don't worry it'll work, I talked to jace." Grayson whispered as they had their backs to us. Jace? They stopped talking as me and Ethan sat down. He sat next to me which made me tense up, I don't know why, but I had butterflies?

We decided to binge watch the fast and furious series. By the sixth movie it was midnight and Elle was asleep on Grayson. Soon enough Grayson fell asleep too, so it was only me and Ethan awake.
By the beginning of the 8th movie it was 3am and I felt my eyes started to get heavy. I didn't even realize that my head was on Ethan's chest. He must've thought I was already asleep because he started playing with my hair as his arm was around my shoulder, but I was too tired to care.

I woke up with my head still on Ethan's chest and his arm was still around me. I slowly get out of his grasp to see Grayson and Elle gone, but as I walked into the kitchen I heard them whispering again. This time I hid around the corner trying to listen in. I know it's bad to eavesdrop but I'm nosy. "Did u see them sleeping?" I heard Elle say with excitement in her voice. "Yeah I took a picture, look!" I heard Grayson say. Next thing I heard was a squeal from Elle. "I'm so excited for tonight, hopefully it'll give them a little push." You could tell elle was trying to be quiet but she was too excited.

Grayson was about to say something but I walked into the kitchen faking a yawn and rubbing my eyes, to pretend like I just woke up. "Mornin" Grayson said. "Morning, so what's the plan?" I said opening the fridge. Their plan was to go swimming, but you see that's not all. Because Grayson drove us to a cliff!
