Chapter 2

Today is going to be a long day. Why? Because school is starting again. I mean why the fuck can't we just stay at home and do whatsoever we want with our damn life.

"Morning Alpha." I heard someone greet me as I went downstairs for breakfast after getting ready.

"Morning Megan." I said. Megan was my beta, Jack's mate.

Ya, I still have not found my mate. And this thought kills me. Though I am a bit glad too because of my reputation among the wolf world. My pack, Black Moon, is the strongest pack here. People say I am ruthless and cruel. That I am, no doubt. I am called Angel of Death but I would have liked it better if I was called a devil instead of an angel. Well back to point. My mate would definately be scared of me. I am gald coz I don't like people who don't follow my order and stand up against me.

"Morning Caleb." Jack said.

"Morning. Lets go." I said as I walked up to my bike. I reached the school in 10 minutes. It was not all werewolf school but all the teachers, principal and 90% of the students are wolves.

I parked my bike as my usual spot and walked through the crowd that always stood there to welcome me.

What can I say? I know I am awesome. I was just about to enter the school when the scent of roses captured me. It was so delicious. I turned back and looked around to see who this scent belonged to. Finally my eyes landed on the most beautiful girl I have seen. She was tall, 5'8 I guess. Black long hair and ice blue eyes. She wore a rugged jeans and half sleeved top. Her hair open falling on her face.

"Mine." I growled as I saw some guys looking in her direction. She was busy talking to another girl while coming in my direction. She didn't even looked at me while she passed from my side. She didn't smelled like a wolf but there was something wrong about her. I could feel she was strong.

"What happened to you?" I heard Jack from my side.

"I..I found my mate." I said confused.

"Well that's good man." He said smiling.

"No. She's human." I said. "But then again there is something wrong."

Before he could ask anymore questions I turned to my class. As I walked to my class, my mate's scent got stronger. I smiled as I entered the class. All turned to look at me. I scanned the whole class and saw my mate turn to me slowly. I smirked when I saw her and went to the back to sit next to her.

"I am Caleb McIver." I said.

"I am Grace Brooks." She said in her beautiful voice and then turned to her friend.

"Grace." I said to myself smiling. "So how are you here?" I asked her after a few seconds.

"Excuse me?" She turned to me.

"I mean you are new here." I said.

"That's none of your buisness." She said.

I was shocked when she said that. How dare she talk to me like that. Mate or not, I am the Alpha. She should be human if she does not know about us being mates but why do I feel that she's not? I just know there is something special about her.

"You can't talk to me like that." I told her.

"And why is that?" She asked me. "Its not like you are the king. Is it?"

"Fiesty! I like it." I said enjoying. Yeah I enjoyed it. It would be more fun now. Though I don't like how she talks to me but then again I like it. Maybe because she doesn't know me. Once she does I will make surw that she never talk to me like that again. If she's human the I have to keep a bit patience till I mark her. Then she can't go anywhere.

For the rest of the class I kept staring at her. I knew she was aware of it coz she looked irritated.

"What the hell is your problem?" She hissed when the bell rang.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"You kept staring at me." She said.

"Like you are that beautiful." I said and walked away from her. I lied. She is so fucking beautiful. I had to go before I start to kiss her.

"Hey." I said when I saw Jack standing infront of my locker.

"Hey. I have something important to tell you." Jack said.

"Go ahead." I said keeping my books in the locker.

"Alpha of Dark Night pack wants to talk to you." He said.

"What does he want now?" I asked annoyed.

"He wants to know if we are still going on the plan or not. He wants to meet you." He said as we started to move toward our next class i.e. science.

"I have not found anything." I said as I entered the class. "I'll call him later today."

"What are we gonna do?" He asked taking seat at the back.

"Don't worry Jack. I have got a lead." I smirked as the teacher entered the class.
