"Why do he have to be so hot?" I muttered angrily as Bella and I walked home.

"He's Alpha. He have to be hot." Bella said. "You should be happy that you have a greek god all for yourself."

"Greek God?" I asked. "Yeah. But its not easy Bells. I have to stay away. I can't let him know about me or I am ruined."

"How much sacrifice will you and Jason do for your family?" Bella asked.

I stopped in my tracks and turned to her. "Our life too."

Bella shook her head but smiled at me. "I am glad to have you."

"I am glad too." I smiled back.

"Don't tell you are gay." I heard a voice from behind.

Standing there was a blond boy with hazel eyes and good physique. He was quite charming but a human. He thinks we both are very beautiful, slightest crush on me. Knows nothing about wolves and safe to be friends with.

"We are not!" I and Bella said in union as he walked towards us.

"Then what was that?" He asked. "I am glad I have you."

"We are BFFs." Bella said annoyed.

"Oh." He said realising. "I am Ryan btw. And you are Grace and Bella."

"How do you know us?" Bella asked cautiously.

"You are the talk of the town." He said. "2 beautiful and alone girls."

"So you are what a stalker? Or murderer? Or even better, rapist?" Bella asked taking a step towards him.

"I am sorry to disappoint you but I am your classmate." He said and continued after seeing our surprised faces, "I am on the quiz team so I didn't attend any class today. I was preparing for a quiz."

"So you are nerd type not bad boy type?" I ask.

"Yes Grace. Unfortunately I am not a badass." He sighed.

"That's good then." I said.

"Good?" He asked surprised.

"Yeah." I said nodding. "We don't like badasses anyway."

"Really?" He asked and we nodded again. "So I can finally have friends?"

"You don't have friends?" Bella asked.

"Only one." He said. "Maria Fox."

"Ohh..!! We know her." I said. "Already befriended."

"Good to know." He said smiling. "O god. I am gonna go home now."

We exchanged our no. and addresses and invited him to our apartment as it was only 5 minutes walk from his house.

"Okay. Bye." I and Bella said.

"Bye." He waved and turned to the right street and we continued to walk.

"Hmmm... Another friend." I said as we reached our building.

"Yeah." Bella said. "Your wait is over but not mine."

"Don't worry Bells." I said. "I have to call Jason too. I haven't called him since we came here."

My phone rang before Bella could reply. It had an unknown ID flashing.

"Hello?" I said.

"Grace." I heard a deep and husky voice. Caleb.

"Whose this?" I asked not hinting that I already knew.

"Turn around and find out." He said chuckling.
