Chapter 9

°GRACE°

I woke up feeling a presence beside me and something heavy on my stomach. I turn to my left and see Caleb sleeping peacefully. He looks so innocent and young. I don't know why people call him angel of death. He has been nothing but sweet and gentle. I sigh watching him quietly. I can't tell him the truth as I know it will endanger us both. If he asks I will tell him that we are rogues.

He stirs and opens his eyes. "I love this sight. You staring at me and me opening my eyes to you."

I blush and turn away. "No please don't turn away. I don't like not looking at you."

I turn to him. "So are you serious about me staying with you?" I ask.

I have not made my decision yet. I know living here can create some problems but I can't also live with them. Not just because they are mates but there's another reason too. Our parents don't want us together coz if one is found other will be safe. And also I can't live away from my mate.

I hear him sigh. "Yes Grace. I m serious. You are my mate and I lo.. I mean I like you so."

I know he love me. I heard him last night but being a good actress I played my part well.  I dont love him still but I do like him. I mean come on he's my mate.

"I will have to talk to James about it and also to Bella." I tell him.

"OK. But don't you think I am gonna let you easily. I will always fight for you. Even if its your brother." He say with a little authority.

"Yeah. I know." I say nodding.

"Damnit. I can't." He says and I am about to ask him what when he kisses me hungrily. I kiss him back as I feel his passion and love in his kiss.

'Grace. You should come back now.' James say in my head.

I pull back even though its hard, I manage to do it. I can see sadness on Caleb's eyes.

"James need me home." I tell him. He growls lightly. "What?"

"It does not fit right that while I was kissing you there was someone else in your mind. Even if was your brother." He complains.

I laugh getting out of the bed. "Don't worry its you always."

In a second he's in front of me. "You mean it right?"

"What?" I ask confused.

"That it will always be me. For you." He says.

"Yes. I mean it." I say and he kisses me again. I kiss him back but then pull away. "I have to go."

He groans. I take my clothes and take a bath. I come out and see Caleb dressed already.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"I am going to drop you there." He says as he comes to me.

"I love my scent all over you. It tell all you're mine." He says as his lips trails over my neck.

I stop myself from moaning. I can't let this start now. I have to go.

"Let's go or I might not be able to control myself from claiming you and making you mine." He say and I shiver in delight.

We walk downstairs and there are few pack members having breakfast. As soon as we enter the room. The all get up and bow muttering 'Alpha.'  Caleb nods and we leave the room. I noticed that no one dared look up. They were all looking at his feet. Never saw people giving that much respect to someone.
