Chapter 8

I am feeling so happy. Kyle is jumping up and down with all the excitement. We are both happy that she knows about us and also about the mates. Now we are waiting for her to answer my last question.

I look at Grace who look deep in thought. She seems to be having an inner debate. What is it? Why is she taking so much time to answer?

She finally looks up at me with those icy blue eyes. All I want to do is kiss her but I have to control myself. Can't scare her.

"You won't ask anything then right?" She asked.

I nod. "Yes. Just this question. No more."

"Alright then." She said taking a deep breath. I can feel my own heartbeat sky rocketing.

"Caleb." She said. "Yes I am."

I kissed her again not being able to stop. Her being a wolf makes all easy. Now she knows how I feel. So she won't be having any problems now.

When I released her, I had so many questions to ask but I had told her I won't ask anymore. But I wanted to know.

She looked at me and sighed. "I know you want answers Caleb but I can't tell you right now. I ll tell you eventually but not now. And if you trust me slightest them please don't try to find out anything about me. I ll let you know myself. Can you do that for me?"

"Of course I can do that. I ll do anything for you Grace. All you have to do is ask." I smiled. I trust Grace of course and so I won't do anything that she does not approve of.

She gave me a tight lipped smile. "I have to go now." She said trying to get away from me.

"No." I growled. "You are not leaving me."

"What? Are you crazy? My brother will go crazy." She said still trying.

"If you are a wolf so is he then. And I guess he already know about us being mates. So he won't be going crazy anytime soon." I told her.

She stopped moving. I knew I had her. But I felt like I said this wrong. I lifted her face up to me.

"Grace. I just got you. Please. Can you stay with me tonight?" I said.

She shook her head. I sighed. What am I to do now?

"I am sorry Grace for talking to you like that." I apologize.

She looked surprised. "I am not mad at you. You don't need to apologize."

I smiled. She's so beautiful and kind..I can go on and on about her.

"Please Grace. Just stay with me tonight." I begged. "No funny business I promise."

She took a while to answer but finally agreed. She mind-linked her brother while I sat there watching her.

She turned to me. "I am hungry."

"Ohh sorry. Come let's go." I said taking her out to the kitchen. There was no one there to which I was greatful.

"Are you cooking?" She asked amused.
"I can't cook even if I am to die." I told her truthfully.

"So why are we here?" She asked confused.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I can cook a few things." She nodded to herself. "Let's find if you have anything here."

I loved looking at her like that. How great it would be to have her in my kitchen making food for me and then go to our room and hold her close to my heart and never let her escape.
