Chapter 7

°GRACE°

I didnt think that Caleb will cry for me. I mean I know that I am his mate and all but Alphas are not supposed to show their weakness to anyone.

'We are mates. Its okay for us to do that with each other.'

'Shut up smartass.'

'yeah yeah. But I am happy you gave him a chance.'

'Me too Lia'

I looked over to Caleb driving with his face lit up like a Christmas. I smile. He looked adorable. I wish I could tell him all about myself.

"Like it?" Caleb voice brought me back. I looked at him and saw him smirking.

"Seen better." I said turning away. A growl made its way from his throat. I smirked.

We traveled in comfortable silence until I noticed that we were going the other way that lead out of town.

"Caleb." I panicked. "Where the hell are you taking me?"

"I need answers." He said with Alpha tone. His wolf had taken over. He was driving like a manic.

"Caleb slow down. You will kill us both." I shouted at him but he only drove faster.

"Caleb come back. Your wolf have taken over." I shouted again.

Car came to a sudden stop. I would have been out of the car had Caleb not holded me.

I pushed him away. And got out of the car.

"You crazy?" I shouted as he came out of the car. "You could have killed us both."

Instead of saying anything he hugged me tightly and buried his face in my neck inhaling my scent pretty heavily. I stiffed due to his sudden movement. After gaining my senses I tried to push him away but he only tighten his grip on me kissing me on the place where a mate marks the other.

"Mine." He growls.

'Lia whats going on?'

'I have no idea Grace.'

Abruptly Caleb leaves me and I feel cold. I look at him and he looking at me with a hurt and anger.

"Why?" He asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Why did you not tell me that you know about wolves?" He asked with a voice surprisingly calm.

"Well wolf is an animal. All know about it." I quickly answered.

He closed his eyes and then again opened them. His eyes were now pitch black.

"You know I am a werewolf." He said and my breath caught in my throat. "Grace?"

"I dont know what you are talkin.." I trailed off as Caleb shook me.

"Dont you fucking lie to me Grace." He snapped and I flinched scared. For a second I thought he will slap me.

"Grace." He said softly. "Please dont deny it anymore. I know that you also know that we are mates."

I looked at him and saw vulnerability in his eyes and how silently he was begging me to say yes. My brain was asking me to deny right now but my heart and wolf was begging me to say yes.

I looked in his pleading eyes again. "Yes. I know."

His lips broke into a beautiful smile and he hugged me tightly. He brought me more closer if that was even possible.
