"Hi Calvin!" Caren forced out the words and felt her facial muscles contract thereby forming a fake smile.

"Oh dear! How could I have forgotten?" Dylan chuckled. "Of course you two know each other, you work together." He shook his head.

"So this is it? This is the reason why you turned me down?"

"Uhm..." She didn't know whether to speak or to remain quiet.

"Calvin, come on let's go get another drink." Halle tugged on his arm but he shrugged her off.

"You know, when Halle told me you were actually out somewhere, with your 'sugar daddy', I told her she was lying and even accused her of hating on you. Little did I know that the fucking sugar daddy is actually my father! What a fucking fool I've been!"

"Halle!?" Caren cried out but Halle avoided her gaze.

"Why do you look upset Caren? Are you mad at her for telling me the truth?"

"Calvin, it's not what you think." She ran her fingers through her hair and took a deep breath. She knew it was going to be a long night. Thankfully the music was so loud that people around barely noticed what was going on. Even at that, she felt so embarrassed.

"Oh, it's exactly what I think Caren. How much I underestimate you but you keep on proving to me every single time, how much of a smart girl you are. I mean, why date the CEO of a billion-dollar company when you can have the Founder all to yourself right?"

"Calvin, that's enough! What's all this nonsense? What's going on?" Dylan yelled. "You're embarrassing my guest and ruining the fun we're all having here."

"I'm ruining the fun? By opening your eyes to the truth? Okay, fine! I'll let you enjoy your little party with your guest. But just so you know, this girl right here, gets pretty wild at parties. Like super, super wild. Next thing you know, she's taking off all her clothes and running around butt naked hoping to end up online like she did last time."

"Calvin?" Caren stared at him unable to move. The hurt she felt upon hearing that come out of his mouth was unexplainable.

"Calvin, please leave here right this second. I'm highly disappointed in you."

"Whatever! Just letting you know, Dad. Don't want cheap whores like her suing us for everything we've worked so hard for, just because of a 'little fun'. I'm out!" He turned to leave and Halle followed him.

"What the hell was that about?" Bonnie asked.

"Uhm... Please excuse me!" Caren ran through the crowd, out of the room and onto the deck. She saw a stairs right around the back of the ship and went up to the top floor hoping to find a place to hide herself until the nightmare was over and she was back on land.

She found a little room at the extreme end of the right wing, like a storage room for miscellaneous items and she got in and shut the door. She crouched down and bawled her eyes out.

"How will I face the world again?" She sobbed. "How will I face everyone at work? How could Halle tell such a dirty lie against me and how could Calvin twist the same knife that an unknown person stabbed me in the back with?" She felt a raging headache. She wondered how she was going to get through the night hiding in that storage room. All she could do was pray and hope that it'd be over soon.

A few minutes later, she heard a knock on the door. She assumed it was a staff passing through so she didn't utter a word.

"Caren... Are you in there?" It was Dylan. "Please can I come in?" He politely asked.

She stood up and opened the door to let him in.

"How are you feeling?" He asked seemingly concerned.

"I'm fine, thanks." She replied.

"Caren, I'm really sorry for everything that happened tonight. I wanted to give you a few minutes to yourself but I can't let you stay in here all night. There's a nice bedroom right here on this floor and I guarantee you, no one will know you're there."

"How did you know I was in here?" She asked.

"I went to the control room and checked the security cameras." He smiled.

"Oh... Sorry I ruined your evening with my mess."

"You didn't! I'm still having a very good day because you're here. You don't need to worry about anything. Come on, let me take you to the room.

She followed him quietly until they got there. The bedroom was very beautiful and cozy. And the bed was extremely comfortable. Her eyes were bouncing up and down the room until Dylan drew her attention to him once more.

"Is there anything in particular you'd like to eat? I'll go and tell them to prepare it."

"Dylan, you've done so much already. You should be at the party having a great time. Not here catering to me."

"But I'm not complaining am I? You're my guest and I should make sure you are comfortable first and foremost. I'll be checking on them at the party to make sure everything's running smoothly so you don't have to worry about that." He smiled.

"Thank you." She replied.

"So anything you'd like to eat?"

"Any type of sandwich will do." She forced a smile.

"Great! I'll have someone serve it to you and I'll come back later to see how you're doing."

"Thank you. I really appreciate it."

"Anything for you." He smiled and left the room.

A few minutes, a knock came on the door. It was a waiter with the food Dylan ordered for her. After she ate the sandwich, she felt a little tired and decided to rest her head for a while.

Dylan returned after an hour and saw that she was fast asleep. He didn't want to wake her up so he dropped a note for her on the bedside table. It read:

"Dear, I came back to check on you but you were fast asleep. I didn't want to bother you by waking you up so I locked the door from outside.
Don't worry you're safe, I promise. I'll be back for you in the morning but if you wake up before then, call me on my cell or through the landline on 211 or 324. Dylan."
