Dylan arrived by 8 o'clock that evening to pick Caren up. She emerged from her apartment building, all fancied up and ready for a night at the club in her black thigh-high boots below a matching mini skirt and a white turtleneck top underneath a wine red, long sleeve, short denim jacket.
"Wow! You look stunning as always." Dylan smiled as he stole a quick glance of her outfit. "You never fail to leave an impression."
"Thank you! You look very handsome I have to say. Seems you do this very often." She smiled.
"Do what? Dress up nicely?"
"No! Hit the clubs. You look like you're about that life." She chuckled.
"Well honestly, it has been a while since I last visited a nightclub." He opened the door of the car for her to get in.
"So when was the last time you went to a club?" She asked when he got in.
"A year ago I'd say. How about you?"
"Oh, it's been a very long time. We're talking years."
"Oh that's a really long time. I know you made mention that you're not really into parties and dancing. Could that be the reason?"
"Sort of! I mean I could still go to a nightclub every now and then and have fun but __"
"But it's not one of the things you enjoy doing the most, yes?" He completed her statement.
"Exactly! It's like you're starting to know me too well now." She giggled.
"That's a good thing right?" He smiled.
"It is!" She replied.
15 minutes later, they arrived at Olivia's nightclub. The exterior design was really fancy but nothing compared to the magnificent interior decoration. It was indeed, a luxurious and classy nightclub.
Caren was lost in admiration over the place when Dylan took her hand and led her to the V.I.P section.
"I have to say, this is definitely one of the best nightclubs I've been to. Looks extremely luxurious and classy." Caren yelled over the loud music."And damn, are these seats super comfortable or what?" She chuckled as she adjusted herself on the sofa.
"You're right! This is actually a very nice place. Not sure how I never knew a place like this existed." Dylan glanced around the club.
"Well I'm happy I made you discover one of the coolest places in this town. Maybe even in the city! Not bad for a girl with no 'partying skills' huh?" She smiled and Dylan chuckled.
"Not bad at all! But there's just one problem."
"What?" She asked unhesitantly.
"Now that I know of this place, there's no way I'm coming here without you."
"Why not?"
"Because, I'd be too distracted to think of anything else. I'd look at every person walking in through that door, hoping it's you. I wouldn't be able to concentrate." He smiled.
"Aw! That's really sweet Dylan. You just know how to say the right things don't you?"
"I do! Had years of practice." He winked.
"Oh, I can see that." She laughed. "I had better call Olivia to let her know I'm here."
While Caren placed a call to Olivia, a waiter came around and Dylan placed his order.
"She's on her way." Caren said.
"I hope you don't mind but I ordered us a bottle of champagne."
"Dylan! Did you forget you're driving?" She raised an eyebrow.
