Chapter Seven

"Tristan!" I screamed. I threw my arms around him and laughed.
It had been at least six months since I've seen him.

He smiled and hugged me back.

He'd always been like a big brother to me. We even looked the same: brown hair, forest green eyes, and being tall.

"Tristan. Good to see you again, " Lukas said and shook Tristan's hand.

"Tristan!" Bleu's high voice squealed.  She ran over to him and hugged him tightly.

Tristan looked down, surprised. 

"Who are you?" he asked her, seeming quite alarmed.

"I'm Bleu. Remember me?" Bleu said, sounding hurt.

"Oh, uh, right. Yeah. Bleu," Tristan murmured. 

Bleu let go of Tristan's torso and her shoulders slumped.

"You don't remember me. Do you?" Bleu asked, her eyes slowly turning a darker shade of blue.

Tristan shook his head slightly.

"Wow. Just wow. We hung out all the time and you don't remember me?!" Bleu yelled accusingly.

Tristan pushed his shoulders back and set his jaw.

"You seriously don't remember me? Oh. It was probably because you spent all your time dreaming about Sammi. Well, fine. But, unfortunately for you,  Sammi's taken now," Bleu said angrily,  motioning at Lukas.

"Well...," Tristan started, his tone furious.

"What on earth is going on?" Kira asked, stepping between the two angered teens.

"Tristan doesn't remember me," Bleu said,  glaring at Tristan.

"Who the hell cares?" Kira asked. "Tristan isn't here to reunite with us and just have a grand old time. He needs us. Now, listen to what he has to say," she finished.

I noticed my shoulders had risen and my fists were clenched. I relaxed a bit, but still glared at Bleu.

Tristan didn't have to know I was dating Lukas. Bleu had no right to tell him.

"Okay," Tristan began.

I pushed away my thoughts and focued on Tristan, watching his mouth form every word he spoke.

"The hunters are onto us and their leader is plotting revenge.  Mostly to you, Sammi," he said, looking at me.

I felt my cheeks grow hot with anger.

"Anyways, we need to leave Kenya or else they'll find us," Tristan said.

I nodded and looked down at my feet.

"Let's go," Kira said.
