The famous music begins again. Virgil has hurried to the portrait of the rocket. He is folded back as the usual stock footage begins. We see Alan and Kayo begin their launch to their Thunderbirds as the two black seats are lowered down and down. They are then brought to the left of the screen as they continue through the passage before they turn to face forward. They begin moving again through their designated paths. We see Alan's eyes before we change to his uniform being placed onto him. Virgil slides to the end of the light where the end is positioned exactly over Thunderbird 2's control room. Once he grabs hold of the bars, he jumps down and closes the roof. Pod 2 is selected and is slowly wheeled in underneath Thunderbird 2. Kayo has been elevated up from her motorcycle into her craft, whilst Alan is raised up aboard Thunderbird 3 with a special arm. He is wheeled inside as the arm retracts. The wall for Thunderbird 2's runway is slowly revealed, and Jeff Tracy in his International Rescue outfit, the one seen in The Long Reach (2020) is present on him when we see him elevated upwards into the ship along with Lady Penelope, Parker, and Sherbet, barking excitedly.

Thunderbird 2 carefully taxis out, before the palm trees fold down neatly for the craft to continue along the runway. Alan is wheeled up to his controls, and the perimeter around his rocket is sealed up. For Kayo, Thunderbird Shadow is turned upside down and is revealed out to the island. The craft is angled and is ready for takeoff. All we are waiting for now is for Thunderbird 2. The craft has been elevated up into the sky, raised up by the platform slowly before its retractable blast shield opens. The Thunderbirds were ready to launch – 5...4...3...2...1! KABOOM! Thunderbird 2 is launched from the runway. We cut to Virgil and his father inside, and then to the craft reaching up and up into the sky. Thunderbird 3 then takes off magnificently. The rocket blasts up from its hanger, soaring out from Tracy Island, up and up and up, before it is miles and miles in the sky. Thunderbird Shadow takes off. Her craft is released and then swoops away from Tracy Island speedily. As we see Thunderbird 2 pass closely to some rocks sticking above the ocean...

Jeff:

Thunderbirds Are Go!

Thunderbird 2 soars off. Now, we see Thunderbirds 2 and Shadow flying close to each other flying to the left of the screen. Thunderbird 3 is higher up in the Earth's atmosphere and is travelling faster than the other two. All three Thunderbirds are in communication with each other, as it is with the World President. He seems ashamed to have to tell the Tracy's about what lies beneath the Lake District.

World President:

I see, Mr. Tracy. Well, I suppose I have no alternative to let you know what is based at Lake District.

Alan:

It might be a little late for Scott now. I still can't get through to him.

Jeff:

I doubt he would want to talk to us right now. Nothing is going to stop him at this rate. Alan, you will keep flying Thunderbird 3 at maximum speed. You will be the first person to arrive at Lake District.

Alan:

F.A.B.

Jeff:

In the meantime, Thunderbirds 2 and Shadow are to be kept at maximum speed also.

Virgil:

F.A.B. ETA to the danger zone, fifty minutes.

Penelope:

And us, Jeff?

Jeff:

Well FAB 1 could be necessary in this situation. Perhaps it would be better if you and Parker were to fly alongside us in case we needed to use your car when the moment requires so.

Penelope:

F.A.B. Jeff.

Parker:

Very well, Mr. Tracy.

Sherbet barks as he quickly follows Lady Penelope and Parker to the pod.

World President:

Jeff, the GDF are fully aware of what's happening. They will rendezvous with you after you arrive. Captain Rigby is sending every man he can to the area.

Jeff:

You were about to discuss the Lake District, Mr. President.

World President:

Yes... I was... well... err... so it's like this...

The bottom of the pod has been opened from underneath, and FAB 1 flies underneath and then parallel alongside Thunderbird 2.

Parker:

FAB 1 is off, m'lady!

Thunderbirds 2, Shadow and FAB 1 zoom off into the distance, rushing for the end of the world...
