Thunderbird 1 has been lowered down to its hanger, as now the ship is ready to take off! The swimming pool has been opened and Scott is interrupted by his father's radio call. All inside Thunderbird 1, Scott is carrying grey boxes dotted around. They are all explosives and weapons that Scott took and feels like he would probably use.
Jeff:
Scott, what are you doing?
Scott:
I'm taking off dad, and I'm coming back home with the Hood finished for good.
Jeff:
Don't you dare, boy! You don't stand a chance out there on your own against him. If you attempt to do exactly the same as what the Hood is up to, then that makes you just as bad as him.
Scott:
Well, somebody has gotta finish the job. Remember the code of International Rescue, dad, that you said yourself – never to give up at any costs!
Jeff:
The world is hanging by a thread here, Scott. I can't let you go ahead and do this – you will have the World President to answer to. And you know he doesn't tolerate failures.
Scott:
Yeah? Well over mine and Gordon's dead, body!
KABOOM! Thunderbird 1 has launched! We see the craft rise up and shoot up past the villa, up into the sky, and far up high with the familiar stock footage. The Tracy's are left stunned by Scott's words and action.
Virgil:
That was some strong talk there. He's out of his depths.
Jeff:
Then we've got no choice now, Virgil. We're going after him! We've lost one member of our family, now we're going to do our best to ensure that this world stays safe. And with the code of International Rescue at the centre of our hearts, we will not give up at any costs until this planet is safe!
Virgil/Alan:
No dad.
Jeff:
Ok. Right. This is what we do. We will launch Thunderbirds 2, 3 and Shadow after Scott. We don't know what we will face out there against the Hood, but we will be ready for anything. Virgil, I will come with you in Thunderbird 2. Now, are we clear?
Virgil/Alan:
Yes dad.
Kayo:
Yes, Mr. Tracy.
They hurry off to their Thunderbirds. Lady Penelope and Parker look at each other.
Penelope:
Parker, we will board with Thunderbird 2. The Rolls is still aboard.
Parker:
Right you are m'lady.
Jeff:
