Chapter 12: Prom Night

Today was the day where everyone got a date for Prom, we had prom usually around the middle of the year. To celebrate and we'd have another at the end of the year.

I had already seen people giving pink colored cards to one another. All my friends had a date already, Haru got a date too. It was his crush, I was filled with joy for him.

But, throughout the day I didn't get any cards. Well except for Hinata. He asked me to be his date but I tore it up into pieces and threw it in the bin in front of him.

I was pretty worried, some fangirl of Hirota came up to me and whined. "Aww, Hirota's little girlfriend didn't even receive a letter from HER OWN BOYFRIEND! WIMP!" She yelled with her high pitched voice.

I was pretty upset with what she said. And I thought, what if my own boyfriend didn't even give me a letter and forgot about what he told me that other day?

(Lunch)
I thought to myself, why haven't I seen my giraffe all day.

"Girl, did Hirota give you any letters yet?" Haru asked.

I shook my head.

Haru was confused, "Maybe he's gonna give it later?" I just shook my shoulders.

(Dismissal)
I haven't seen him all day, not even in my classes. I was losing hope. When I stepped out of class, I saw a huge crowd and screaming.

It sounded like, fangirls. I just rolled my eyes. But I heard some basketball players cheering too.

And when I walked towards them, the crowd spaced out and started cheering more. I walked through the gap of the crowd, to see my boyfriend.

Hirota was holding up a board with our photos and my favourite things like cats and donuts.

I walked up to him, he was smiling at me. He crouched down, and held my hand.

"Clumsy, will you be my date to prom?" He laughed.

I started crying, probably joy or relief and he hugged me. "YES! My love." "M'lady come here!" He yelled and hugged me.

"YEAHH!!" His friends cheered. Some of the fangirls were hilarious, they were pissed off. Then, Hinata grabbed me.

He pulled me to my locker and cornered me to a wall.

"Happy ever after? Well let me tell you something, she agreed to be my date so I can do whatever I want!" He demanded.

"What is wrong with you? I did not agree to be your date." Avery yelled.

"Stop it, stop harassing my girlfriend." Hirota yelled.

"What makes you think I'd listen to you?" Hinata sticked out his tongue at Hirota.

Before I even got time to stop him, Hinata grabbed my shoulder and kissed me.

I forcefully pushed Hinata off. "STOP IT!"

"You liked that didn't you?" He smirked.

"I have a boyfriend! " I yelled
I saw Hirota at the back, he looked pissed. I was so worried, I approached him.

"Hiro-Hirota I tried to---"
"You stole my crush last year, and you're trying to do it again." "Get a hold of yourself." He punched Hinata till he got knocked out.
