"We're almost there, love. Stay awake.." I mumbled.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [Hirota's Pov] "Beep... Beep... Beep.." The sounds of the heart rate machines beeped slow and steady. But I couldn't see anything, I was just in a dark empty space. Then I heard crying.
"Hirota.. Please be alright.." Avery held my hand. When I tried to say something, no one could hear me. The echos travelled around the dark empty space.
"Miss, your boyfriend is going to be alright. We just have to stitch the wound up. He's in a comma now due to lack of nutrients and water. This might take a few weeks.. He must be under supervision in the hospital till future observations made." The doctor announced.
" A few weeks..? " Avery cried. I was so hurt and I wanted to console her but I couldn't do anything.
(Avery's POV)
For the next few weeks, I had continuous trips to the hospital. I couldn't get any sleep too, I was too overwhelmed by what happened to Hirota. Suddently as I was about to lay in bed, a sharp ringing noise dinged. It was from my phone. Haru had messaged me.
I was really looking forward to seeing my friends from high school! but I was still worried about my Hirota.
But, why were they coming to stay in Paris? I pondered, and remembered that Haru's boyfriend was originally from France. What a coincidence.
[Weeks later, after spending time with friends.]
"Ring.. Ring... Ring.." I answered the call. "Hello?"
"Hi, Miss Avery! Your boyfriend as came by." The doctor said, and put down the phone.
"Girls! Hirota is awake!" I exclaimed excitedly.
They looked at me with shock and followed. They bought porridge and some gifts for him.
[At the Hospital] I barged into the room. Hirota looked at me with excitement but also looked tired.
"Hirota!" I ran towards him and hugged him with a kiss. "I missed you so much, you don't know how worried I was." I cried.
"I missed you too, my clumsy."
"WHAT'S UP YOOO!" Yuri barged in with the rest.
"Your friends are here?" Hirota's friends suddently barged in. "My friends too?" "Well uh, I did tell them.." He pulled me into a hug. "Ooh! You do love and care about me, don't you clumsy?" He squished my face.
"Mhm.." I tried to speak as he kept squishing my face.
Hirota got discharged but they all had to go home early.
I brought him to one of the famous restaurants.
"You didn't have to do that." I grumbled. "Do what?" "You didn't have to sacrifice your own life for me." I groaned.
"But didn't you sacrifice yours for me in high-school?" He held my hand.
"But you scared me, I thought i wouldn't ever see you again." I pouted.
"That's exactly how I felt when you sacrificed your life for me." He smiled.
"B-but--" I tried to say something.
"No more buts. Shut up and eat the food clumsy." He shoved the portion of his pasta in my mouth.
As he was about to change the topic, "Shut up and eat the food clumsy." I imitated his voice and fed him my steak.
He was so shocked and laughed it off. "Hey! You're being rude to your own boss." He groaned.
I sticked my tongue out at him.
"You look adorable when you do that." He chuckled.
"How about you do it?"
"Me..?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Mhm!"

I'm not gonna lie, this was the hardest I've blushed and gotten butterflies in my stomach. He was so charming, and attractive.
"You're blushing really hard." "Do I make you blush that much?"
"U-uh--" He started laughing at me.
- - - From the ride to home he kept teasing of how I blushed so much by him.
I kinda got annoyed so when we reached home I just told him straight to us face, "What's wrong with blushing? Doesn't it tell you something, doesn't it tell you that I love you and is attracted to you?" I yelled.
"SEE, that was what I wanted to hear!" He winked.
"Hmph." I pouted.
"Go take a shower, let's watch a movie later." He kissed my face.
I quickly showered with warm water. When I came out, I sat on the sofa probably 5 metres away from him.
"Are you that mad at me for teasing you? Little bunny." He smirked.
"Come here." He pulled me to sit in his lap and hugged me.
"Don't be mad at me please.." He did some kind of puppy dog eye.
"Fine." I laughed after he kept kissing my face and tickling me.
[Time skip to bedtime] "Let's go to the bar tomorrow."
"The bar?"
"Mhm."
He laid down next to me and slept. Cuddling me from behind with one arm over me.
[At The Bar at Night]
(Hirota's Pov)
We drank a few shots of cocktails and sang karoke together.
There were some situations where some people tried to flirt with us.
Like the time when a lady dressed in revealing clothing came up to me as I sat with Avery. "Hey! What's your name?" She asked with a really drunk tone. "Go away, he has a girlfriend." Ugh! "She ran away.
But there was one when a guy tried to flirt with Avery. I was pissed, and jealous." You're such a pretty lady, wanna hang at my house? " He winked." Shut up and leave. She has a boyfriend. " I interuppted him from flirting. "Yeah, he's way better than you." Avery rolled her eyes. Then, the guy walked off.
"Clumsy I wanna bring you somewhere." I put my arm around her.
I brought her to the eiffel tower. "Why are we here at the capital?"
"Well .. My love. I've been meaning to tell you this." I held her hand and looked at her in the eyes.
