"Bye guys!" I waved to the photography group as I exited school with Hirota.

Rain drops drizzled onto our heads. "Shoot! I forgot to bring an umbrella!" We both didn't. Hirota covered us with his jacket.

We ran through an alley way and waited for help.

{ Ryou's POV}

"Ugh, she broke up with me because I liked Avery's post, unbelievable." I thought to myself.

I slammed my car door and aggressively locked it with my keys. That was when I was about to enter my apartment, I saw Avery. With a tall guy in front of her. I was furious.

{ Hirota's POV}

I saw this guy, he looked drunk. He was approaching us. He looked at Avery, with his smirking face.

I slowly put my hand in front of Avery, as my fist clutched. Pushing her back, her arms were trembling.

"Avery, oh did you miss me? I'm really sorry for how I treated you! I'd be willing to change for you, I love you. I'll treat you better than this loser!" He said to Avery, it sounded like her ex.

But I was angry, he was underestimating what kind of guy I was.

"Come here, Avery. Aren't I better than this wimp? I'm much more attractive than him." He insisted as he slowly walked closer.

"No. Hirota is better than you, you jerk. Pfft, imagine turning down him for you? What kind of maniac would do such a thing?" She pushed him.

"So you can talk now? Huh, what can this little guy do? Fight a little ant, HILARIOUS!" He scoffed.

My fist clenched harder, my veins were tight. I wanted to punch this man.

He ran and tried to punch me. I dodged him, as he tried to grab me. I punched his face, till one of those flying punches I did landed a nosebleed.

"Woah, so you're strong?" He sternly asked.

He held me by my throat.

"Stop it! Let him down!" Avery cried.

"You think you're so great, huh, so charming for this princess?" He squeezed tighter.

I really couldn't breathe.

{ Avery's POV}

Hirota was struggling. I wanted to hit Ryou but I knew it wouldn't make things better, or it wouldn't do much.

"A-Av-very-y... h-he-l-lp." He struggled to speak.

I started crying with anger overtaking my emotions.

I found a glass wine bottle on the ground.

I ran as fast as lightning, I jumped and smashed the bottle on my ex's head. Throwing my emotions and how much I hated him. I smashed his head and started hitting him in the face.

I heard Sirens, the blue and red flashing lights flashed among us. The police had arrived, Ryou was already knocked out.

"The people living in this apartment complained of shouting, what happened?"

We explained everything in detail, I broke down in tears as I explained.

"I see, kids. Be careful next time alright? I'll give you both a ride home." The officer told us.

{ Hirota's POV}

I thought, how brave and angry Avery looked was really painful to watch. But I kind of found it attractive, like some kind of Mafia leader. We were reaching Avery's home. I looked to my right. I found her sleeping on my shoulder, she had some cuts on her arms and some on her face. I hope Mrs Mitsuki doesn't kill me. I carried her out of the car.

"Mrs Mitsuki?" I knocked on the door.

"Hello--- Oh my poor baby! Come on in." Mrs Mitsuki looked worried.

I rested her in bed, as I talked to Mrs Mitsuki.

"Look, Mrs Mitsuki. I am terribly sorry for getting her hurt, I shouldn't have brought her under that sheltered alley---" I quickly stated.

" Young man, I am thankful of you. Thank you for being my angel back, I was worried sick about her. It must've been Ryou right? Ugh that abusive, useless man." Mrs Mitsuki rolled her eyes.

"Hey Mrs Mitsuki, I need to confess. That I'm dating your daughter." I said, shyly.

"That's amazing! It's for the better. You can stay here today, but do inform your mother." She left to the kitchen.

I haven't spoke to my mom in a while, I called her anxiously.

"Hello? Hirota, is that you?" My mother answered sounding upset.

"Yes mom, it's me. I'm staying at my girlfriend's house tonight." I said.

"You have a girlfriend? That's great. Introduce her to me soon."

"I will, goodnight." I ended the call.

I didn't like my mother, she divorced my Father because he wasn't rich enough. Gold digger, now that he passed my only choice is to talk to her.

I walked up the stairs, and tucked myself in as I laid on the spare bed.

"Hir-rota?" Avery asked mumbling.

"Yes, clumsy?" I replied.

"I love you. Do you?" She talked in her sleep.

"Of course I do. "

She snored away. Today was a hell of a ride. But, I love it.
