Surprisingly over the next several nights we both found ourselves at Luna Lake around the same time. It was never planned, yet I believe we both hoped the other would be there. We got along so well it was almost unreal. We made each other laugh all the time and the flirting was quite heavy.

He was ridiculously good with words.

We were on the docks again about a week after our first encounter at the lake. I had my foot below the surface of the water and he was leaning against the end post facing me as he spoke

"I think Namjoon is starting to feel better?"

"Thankfully." I smiled. "He hates that wheelchair and it's been just over a week."

"He seems kind of restless."

"He kinda is." I said, letting out a sigh and smiling over to him.

"So, what do you have planned for tomorrow?"

"Nothing actually." I said surprising him. "I have the next few days off. Hoseok has caught on so quickly its his first weekend on his own. Of course, he has my number in case he need help, but I have faith he will do just fine."

He tilted his head slightly, his eyebrows coming together. "I don't have your phone number?"

"You don't?"

"No."

"Well how about that?" I smirked, making him grin in return.

"Can I have your number?"

"Hmmm...I don't know. We don't work together."

He let out a short breathy laugh, leaning forward with his arm resting on the knee of his bent leg. "That is not why I wanted your phone number."

"I know." I teased. "Do you have your phone on you?"

"I actually don't. I don't usually bring it when I come to the lake."

"Why not?"

"Don't want my peace interrupted."

"Well, if I'm interrupting..." I trailed off.

"Trust me, you're not." He smiled, those butterflies fluttering wildly within my stomach.

Just then a very low, very deep roll of thunder echoed over the water of the lake, making Yoongi and I both look up to the sky. Dark clouds were coming in, tumbling over each other quickly.

"It looks like a storm is coming in." I said. "We may want to head home."

"Bummer." He replied. "I was looking forward to hanging out with you."

That gave me an idea. "We can still hang out." I told him, another roll of thunder coming in, this time louder. There were also some distant flashes of lightning companied by the sound. "I love thunderstorms and rain, and I especially love watching scary movies in them. Would you want to join me?"

"Sounds like a good time." He said, but looked uncertain.

"But...?"

"No buts. Just sounds kinda like..."

"A date?" I finished for him, feeling a few raindrops fall on me. "Is that bad?"

"No." He replied, rain coming down a bit harder. "But I wouldn't want to get my hopes up."

His charm was so flattering. He never made me feel uncomfortable nor did he ever give me a reason to not trust him. In such a short amount of time I had become infatuated with a complete stranger.
