NINETEEN

YOONGI POV

Not long after I move in with Luna Namjoon called a meeting with everyone. We had gone over a few issues we were still having with the humans putting out wolf traps. Namjoon was forced to put a curfew out in the community. No one outside the boundaries after dark until we could get it straightened out.

We all had agreed.

Jin, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and Hoseok decided to start knocking on doors to let everyone know about the temporary curfew, and just as they were headed out Luna came up to me.

"Hey there handsome." He smiled.

I leaned up and kissed her lips quick, smiling back. "Hey gorgeous."

"Now what am I going to do with you locked up in my house?" She asked, rasing an eye brow.

"The worst, I hope." I teased making her laugh.

"Well before you do that, I need a private word with Yoongi." Namjoon said, his voice clearly annoyed.

"Private?" She asked her brother, equally annoyed.

They had not been getting along too well recently, and I knew why. Though he was okay with our mating, and grateful for me bending the knee, he still thought it was too soon for his sister to be mated with me. I kind of understood, but not really. When you mate someone, it's no joke. It's not done on a whim. Our instincts knew something that we didn't, and are learning as we spend more time together. And I know that Namjoon knows that, so I've been trying to give him time to accept it.

"Yes Private, the conversation has nothing to do with you." He told her, making me stand up.

She rolled her eyes, her energy drained from the back and forth between them. She gave me a kiss on the cheek before walking around the table and out of the room.

I really didn't like this dynamic between them, especially since Namjoon was always the one to have an attitude first. Once she was out of the room, I wanted very badly to say something to him. But this wasn't just some alpha being disrespectful, this was her brother.

And siblings have fights.

"This is really important, and I want you to know that I'm talking to you about it first."

"Alright." I responded, both of us sitting back down.

"It's not secret that it has been a struggle for me to adjust to this new dynamic." He started, looking at me. "I am trying to be okay with it, but she is my sister. We didnt know you very well when this all happened and honestly, I feel a little disrespected."

"Disrespected?"

"She is my sister. And you had no conversation Jin, Tae, or myself about mating with her." I raised an eye brow at him, curious if he was being serious or not. He readjusted in his seat sitting a bit straighter. "I'm not saying you need our permission, but it's customary for a discussion of intent, and you failed my family of that."

"Your sister, an alpha female, sniffed me out during my rut." I said point blank to him. "It triggered her heat, and she and I both were lost in each other. I had no intention of mating her while in that state, yet I happened because it was supposed to happen."

I could tell he was holding back his anger. He is very good at keeping himself cool and collected during hard conversations, but so am I.

"I understand that, I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around it."

"Am I able to speak freely here?" I asked him. "Are you my mate's brother right now, or my pack leader?"

His jaw tensed a little but he spoke clearly. "Brother."
