TWO WEEKS LATER

"Where is Jimin?"

"Isn't he always late?"

I rolled my eyes annoyed with the fact that I was here. It had been a full two months since Hoseok and Yoongi had been around and Namjoon wanted another meeting to discuss their stay.

"Isn't this meeting a little pointless?" I asked, looking over at my brother. "I mean...they are staying and we all know that."

"We don't know that." He replied. "That's why we are here, to discuss it like we always do."

I rolled my eyes and slouched in my seat. I wanted to get this over with. I was particularly ornery today, and to be honest I wasn't exactly sure why. But my patience was running thin when Jin's phone rang and he mumbled that it was Jimin who was calling.

"Where are you?" he asked, before listening to the response. "Alright, get here quick though everyone is waiting on you."

When he hung up is eyes met mine, and I was annoyed. "Seriously?" I asked.

"You're rather testy today." Taehyung mentioned from next to me. "Are you okay?"

"I think this meeting is pointless." I said without moving or my eyes focusing on anything other than the door.

No one said anything to me, but Jin had moved the conversation to Namjoon explaining that Jimin was on his way. He had a patient that was unexpected but that he would be here shortly.

The entire room was in an uncomfortable silence until about 10 minutes later when Jimin stormed in huffing and puffing.

"I'm so sorry you guys, I got here as soon as I could."

"Well, if someone would have given us more notice of the meeting you wouldn't have had to rush." I said, Namjoon looking at me with an annoyed expression.

"Can we move on with the meeting?" He asked.

I shrugged in response.

He rolled his eyes at me, irritating me, but he looked at the rest of the small counsel instead. "Alright, so the nomads have been here for quite a while and I'm rather impressed with the contributions that they have made towards or pack."

"I agree." Jin added. "I'm not sure if all of you have had the opportunity to work with either or both of them, but Hoseok picked up on the perimeter and the security measures within the first week of him being here and Yoongi and Namjoon have a very unique way of working with one another. They mesh well."

"Have they earned your trust?" I asked, interrupting my brother.

"In the short time they have been here yes." Jin nodded. "I have no reason not to trust them. Namjoon?"

"I would say yes." He said, unconvincing.

"But?" Tae asked, also hearing the hesitation in his voice.

"But though I want to extend their stay I want to continue their stay on a trial basis."

"Why?" I asked, sitting up straighter, annoyed.

"Because two months is really not a lot of time to get to know complete strangers."

"They aren't complete strangers anymore." I said, knowing full well that this would quickly turn into an argument.

He sensed my hostility, and honestly this is why he's our pack leader. He can calm himself and not let his alpha energy control him. We are all fairly good at that, but he for sure the best.
