The next morning, I was unusually excited for the tour I was going to host for the new guests. Maybe it was because of the night in the water with Yoongi, or maybe it was just exciting to have newcomers around. I made sure to wear a cute yet simple outfit. I had curled my hair in very loose curls, my favorite pair of distressed shorts, and a long sleeve shirt with a scoop neckline. I pulled on a pair of running shoes, and made my way out of my one-bedroom cabin.
I was disappointed when I made it to the front of the main house only to see Hoseok waiting for me on his own. I greeted him as warmly as possible, his smile making me smile back.
"Good morning Luna." He smiled, leaning in to kiss me on the cheek.
I kissed him back, on the cheek of course, and could not help but smile deeply. His bright, shining personality was very contagious. I loved it.
"Good morning to you." I replied. "You seem to be in a particularly good mood."
"I am. I'm really excited to see everything."
"Well, where's your brother?"
"Oh! Right. He wanted me to extend his apologies. He received a text this morning from your brother requesting his presence. He told him that he was supposed to be here with us on the tour, but Namjoon needed him, so he didn't argue."
"Ahhh. That makes sense." I said, my tone a tad disappointed.
Hoseok grinned, giving me a knowing look. "I'm so sorry to disappoint you, Luna."
"No, no!" I replied. "I'm not disappointed." I laughed. "I just...saw him last night and after our conversation I thought he would be joining us. That's all."
His grin turned into a smirk, and crossing his arms across his chest he said something I was not expecting. "You mean your skinny-dipping adventure."
My eyes went wide, and I opened my mouth to defend myself, but he simply raised an eyebrow making me smile. "Yes, that."
He laughed. "He was shocked by your boldness."
"So was I." I laughed.
"So where are we going to start?"
"I figure I would show you the perimeter and the check points." I said as I started to walk towards the woods. "To be honest with you, I didn't really have plans to introduce you to the pack members. I don't think that I'm the right person to do that."
"Why do you say that?" He asked as he followed closly.
"Well...as you know from the meeting yesterday, not everyone in our pack is excited to know I am part of the pack coucel."
"Why?"
"Because I'm a female."
He rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Seriously? Its 2021. Your male counterparts can handle a woman with authority?"
"Not all." I explained. "Just a lot. Not to mention that I'm an alpha female. That kind of complicates things a bit."
"How so?" He asked as he continued to the first check point.
I stopped and looked at him, confused. Perhaps he just is a good person and doesn't notice. "You can't...smell me?"
"Oh...um...well I can." He smiled, blush rushing through his cheeks. "But it's not as strong for me as you may think."
Then it clicked. "Oh! So, you..."
"Yeah. I like men." He laughed.
"That explains a lot actually." I said as I continued to walk.
