Chapter 15- Meeting His Family (Part 3) {Edited}

“What the hell do you mean not for long,” the man asked as he eased his car away from the curb and into the heavy traffic.

“What the fuck do you think I mean?” she exclaimed. “You’re smart. Use that big head of yours.”

“I thought we both agreed to not do anything crazy,” he responded.

She looked at him, “My sweet naive cousin,” she said leaning back against the headrest. “You should know by now that when it comes to me. I never follow through with agreements,” she said while using air quotes.

She was right and he knew it. She never kept her word and today sure wasn’t the day to assume that she would. He just hoped that nothing happened to his Keira.

Keira took another bite of her hot wing and groan in delight. After both her and Sean got settled into his old bedroom, he guided her into the kitchen where the rest of his family were. Keira got to meet the rest of them and all in all, they were all wonderful people.

 Sean’s older sister, Olivia, who just like everybody else, welcomed her with opened arms. She was married and a mother to two adorable little boys that look just like their father Carlton.

 “Surprised you out of all people Sean picked a winner,” she said hugged Keira tightly. “After Sasha, I was a bit worried about your future.”

This was the second time she heard about some girl named Sasha. Keira had a feeling that there was something that he was hiding and made a mental note to ask him about her.

Lauren, who was Sean’s second oldest sister was in medical school to become an Obstetrician and would be working along side her father who was also one. She offered to deliver their baby but Keira was a first hesitant to speak up until Sean did, letting her know if was up to her and that his father would be right there guiding her. 'Wouldn’t it be awkward for his father to look at my vagina,' Keira thought to herself.

She put that thought aside and since Sean was okay with it and she trusted him, she agreed for his father and sister to deliver the baby.

Megan, the youngest of the girls was quite a rebel and reminded Keira of her sister Arin. She knew that she would get along with her just find because of that. The moment that Keira gave her and the rest of them their gifts, Megan took her Christian Louboutin’s. 

“You're going to be the best sister-in-law ever!” Megan screamed and ran out the room with her new shoes.

Sister-in-law...

Had Sean told them that they were getting married? Sure they slowed their relationship down and she thought that they were at least still engaged, but seeing as though he introduced her to his family as just ‘Keira’, she wasn’t even so sure if she was his girlfriend but simply his baby momma. Unexpectedly she cringed at the thought of being just the mother of his children. Why would he ask her to move in with him if she was just his baby momma. She wanted to pull him aside and talk about it to clear everything up but now wasn’t the time.

Sean told Keira that the rest of his family was unable to make it because it was short notice, but they would definitely be coming out to New York for the baby shower. She was thankful that she didn’t have to meet them all at once. It probably would have been too much to handle. Bombarded with his entire family would have to wait to another day.
