Slamming his sixth shot down, Sean hissed and called the bartender over for another round. He definitely needed to get drunk to forget about what just happened but it seemed like his friends wouldn't let him forget about it at all. He called Daniel and Kyle after he left his house. Since he hadn't seen them in a while, it couldn't have been a better time to go out and get hammered with his boys.
"Ok," Kyle began. "So she's blaming you for the attack."
Sean nodded and quickly grabbed the shot glass that the bartender gave him. "Yes," he coughed.
"Man I think you need take it down a notch," Daniel told him.
"H-how was I s-suppose to know she was going to get attack?" Sean asked. "I tried to get to her as fast as I could, but it wasn't fast enough. I l-let her down Daniel. I understand why she's mad. It's all my fault. She almost lost Micah because of it. When I find the motherfucker who did this to her, I'll kill him!"
"You're so drunk right now, you can't even hurt a fly," Daniel stated.
It was sad to see his friend in the state that he was in. The last time they all went to a bar and drunk away all their sorrows was in their college days. Well to this day Kyle still went to bars to pick up chicks, while Daniel was trying to find a women that he could settle down with and Sean who he thought was doing great with Keira. What happened to her was heartbreaking and nobody should ever get attack like she did and almost cost their child to die. Of course, you always see and hear about this on the news but Daniel never thought that it would actually happened to a close friend who was like family to him.
"You just need to let her cool down and then talk to her," Daniel suggested.
Sean shook his head "I'm not talking to that b-biiitch," he slurred. "I d-don't want anything to do with her anymore. When I get home, I'm going to pack up all her shit and put them on the porch and tell her to 'Get the steppin',"
"Hell yeah!" Kyle stretched, also in a drunken state.
Daniel tried not to laugh at Sean who was quoting Martin. He glanced at Kyle and smack him on his head for agreeing with Sean. They were both dumbasses when they drank alcohol. Kyle attempted to flip him off with his middle finger but instead, showed his ring finger.
"You k-know what her problem is?" Kyle questioned. "She don't respect you for the man that you are. You need to put your foot down and tell her who's boss."
"Oh God, I love her so much," Sean confided in them. "She's my everything. I'll die for her and Micah."
"Pussy whipped," Kyle muttered.
"Dude, shut up!" Daniel yelled.
Sean rubbed his hand over his face. "No," he began. "It's not about sex when it comes to Keira. Yea, she's the best I ever had, but she's the first girl that I have practically everything in common with. I mean she's very smart, kind, compassionate, cares about others before herself. I mean even with everything that happened with her father, she still cares and loves him. If it was me, I'll never talk to my dad again.
