-----------------------------------------
Honking his horn for the fifth time, Sean was stuck in traffic and late for the photo shoot at Black Diamond. He was filled with anger and has been for the past twenty-four hours. One, because he hasn't seen Keira in what felt like ages and two, because the law system was just fucked up.
For the past three month, Sean has been going back and forth to court to put his crazy ex girlfriend in jail, but now only to be put in a mental hospital for a couple of months for observation. He was livid and was in contempt of court when he voiced his opinions yesterday to the judge. Sean felt like they had solid proof to put that bitch behind bars, throw away, and bury the key. Guess the cops busting through the door, catching Sasha throwing everything she came in contact with his way, literally chasing him throughout the house with a knife, all while scream incoherent sentence wasn't enough. Just your typical psychotic female. Nothing new.....
Not!
He had never seen her behave that way. Sean had came home that day to break the news to her, that he had got the new job he so desperately wanted and needed. He would have to basically move from California to here in New York City. It seemed like when she heard the words, 'leaving to New York City', everything went downhill from there. Especially now that the bitch wasn't behind bars but in a mental institution.
Sean sighed heavily in relief when traffic had died down. He pressed on the gas, and his Chevy Tahoe truck shot through the intersection. As he made his way down the street, he found himself smiling and thinking about his boss.
Wow. His boss?
That's the first time since Sean has got to Black Diamond and thought of Keira as his boss. Well hell, he couldn't wait to see his sexy boss. The separation between them was killing him. Was it healthy to think about the sultry vixen twenty-four seven, seven days a week? Because if not, oh well. Sean's been thinking about her since the moment he notice she slipped out his hotel room that night. Since then, you couldn't pay him to stop thinking about her.
To say that Sean was happy that Keira gave him a chance was an understatement. More like ecstatic. He couldn't lie and say that he had to have her in his bed again, because that's where she belong. When he came to New York, he told himself to not get involved with women. Focus on his career because he was not ready to jump into another relationship. But he took one look at Keira and everything change. All he wanted that night was sex but she became pregnant. His buddy Kyle would say, 'The power of pussy,' but to think it wasn't even about having sex with her anymore. It was quite more and these months leading up to their baby's birth, he would prove to her that they were good together. Scratch that; great together.
Sean got to the studio and parked in the underground structure. Taking quick and long strides, he took out his I.D and scanned it to open the door to the elevators. He stepped through the doors once the elevator opened. Once he got to the correct floor, he stepped out of the elevator and made his way to Keira's office before going to the studio where the photo shoot was being shot. He was more than sure that it was over because he was very late. He stopped when he heard and saw that everyone was in the conference room. Something wasn't right and everyone was yelling. He pushed the door opened and went to the first person he saw.
"Hey, what's going on?" He asked.
"Nice of you to join us," Lacey joked. "Picking the perfect cover for the issue. Keira let Nicki pick her top three frames. Now we have to choose one for the cover and another for the spread for the interview."
