Jade's PoV
My fingers are getting numb from how long I've been holding the pen between them and my eyes are getting weary to the point that I have to reread every letter and number I'm writing to make sure it's correct. It's already 11 p.m. and I still got two math problems to solve and a history essay to write . I wish I knew how to curse right now.
"Why did I agree to this?" I scold myself for my stupidity.
I bump my head on the table repeatedly to punish it for being so dumb earlier this week.
How did I manage to get myself tangled up with Kim Taehyung? The school's joker.
Our brief conversation at school happened so fast that I can't remember how I came to agree to such a thing.
I pull out the loose piece of paper out of my backpack to inspect it once again.
I, Park Jade, promise to do Kim Taehyung's homework in exchange for secrecy and romantic advice.
"Aish! You're so stupid Jade! Stupid, stupid, stupid!" I continue banging my head on the hard surface.
A short and quick vibration stops me from inflicting more pain on my red forehead.
Psycho:
Are you done with it?
Is this guy for real? He always texts me when I mentally curse at him. Before I can even reply, he texts me again.
Psycho:
Where do you live?
Me:
Almost, and why do you care?
Psycho:
I'll come pick it up
Me:
Why can't we just meet
tomorrow morning?
Psycho:
Because
Me:
That's it? Because?
Psycho:
Because I can't
I need to pick it up tonight
Share your location
Me:
Are you crazy?
It's way past curfew
Psycho:
What's that
Me:
You're kidding, right?
Psycho:
I haven't got a curfew
And you don't have to leave
your house.
I'll just quickly pick up
my homework and be on my way
I think for a bit. This is actually not a bad idea. It's better than meeting at school where there's people around. I don't want to be associated with him.
Me:

I put down my phone and pick up my history book.
I hate myself.
...
Not even ten minutes later, my phone vibrates again.
Psycho:
