(Y/N)~

Today I'm going to the annual pride parade with my best friends. My brother, Ray, is driving me to the Way residence. We've been going to Pride parades for 8 years now, ever since Gerard came out as Pansexual. His brother Mikey came out as gay a few months later. Frank, Gerard's best friend, came out as Bisexual 2 years ago, and they've been dating ever since. Ray, from what I know, is straight, but I have a suspicion that he's Asexual. I, myself am a closeted trans boy, who is also gay. I wanna tell them I'm gay because I know they'll still love me, but they have always known me as a girl, so I don't know if they'll accept me as a boy.

We pulled into the driveway and Gee, Frank, and Mikey all walked out. I was the one who had all the flags in my backpack because their families wouldn't let them have flags. I grabbed everyone's flags and handed them out. Then I noticed two rolled up flags at the bottom. One had black, gray, white, and purple. Ace. I looked at the other one and gasped. It was the beautiful blue, pink, and white flag I always wanted. The Trans flag. I looked at Ray and he winked.

I looked at him seriously and mouthed "(Y/N)." He nodded and smiled at me. He put his hand on my knee while we drove. When we got out of the car, I set my backpack down and pulled out the remaining two flags. I handed Ray the Ace flag and told him I loved him as I tied my flag around my neck. He smiled and tied his flag around his neck.

When we walked around the car and the others saw us, they just stared. I hid behind Ray and he turned and held me tight. "It's okay (Y/N)," he said softly. I felt another pair of arms around me, and started to tear up. Soon they were all hugging me, and Frank offered to cut my hair really quick with his pocket knife. I shook my head and grabbed Mikey's beanie.

I put on the hat and tucked all my hair in it and let some of my hair peek out so it looked like I had a boy cut. I smiled and we started walking around and talking to some of the people there. Mikey put him arm around me and I leaned against him as we walked. I was enjoying all the colorful sights when Mikey started speaking.

"The only girl I ever loved isn't even a girl," he said to himself, "but there's no way he'd love me." I stopped and turned him to look at me.

"Mikey," I started, "I'm gay, and I've loved this whole time. I loved you when you thought you were straight. I still loved you when you came out as gay. I loved you when I thought I was a straight girl. I love you now that I'm a gay guy. Michael James Way, I love you. I always have, I still do, and I always will."

He hugged me and said, "Then will you..." He trailed off expecting my name. "(Y/N)" "(Y/N), will you be my boyfriend?" I nodded and he pulled me close. This is the best pride parade I've ever been to.
