Chapter 12: Kaneki fights to protect.

On the way where senpai's room Hide told us it's name is Nishio Nishiki. "We're almost there" Hide said as we walk up the stairs.

As we arrived at the door I heard moaning "hm, maybe we should not g.." before I could finish.

"This is it, pardon the intrusion" Hide slams the door open "Hide at least knock" Kaneki said.

"kyaaaa" a girl yelled out of the room "so they were making out?" I look weird at Nishio.

"Nagachika, can't you nock first" Nishio said.

"Nishio-san, im sorry" Hide said as we walk in.

"Nothing pisses me off more, than having my territory violated" Nishio said annoyed.

Nishio turns around "Yeah... oh, this is Kaneki and Amaya my friends that I mentioned" Kaneki eye's widened.

I glanced at Kaneki as I see his facial expression change"Kaneki? What's wrong" I turn to look at Nishio-senpai I don't see anything out of the ordinary "is he a ghoul?".

Nishio stands up "You don't say, my name is Nishio Nishiki, second year, school of pharmacy" he put his hand on Kaneki's shoulder and leans to near Kaneki's ear.

"Nice... to meet... you Ka-ne-ki" he said in a creepy voice.

I glared at him"stay away from him creep"

Hide told nishio why he was here and both searched "You wanted last year's"Nishio asked Hide.

"Yes" Hide replied.

"Oh, where did I put that" nishio said while searching but both of them haven't found it Nishio sat down on his chair Hide walked over to him. Me and Kaneki are just standing in the room looking around.

"Aw, it might be home" Nishio said putting his hand on his head.

"You're serious" Hide said disappointed.

"Nakachika why don't you come with me to grab it right now" he asked Hide making him think if he should or not.

"Yeah, sure why not, um Kaneki sorry I have to stop by nishio-san place, so head on out without me" Kaneki looks terrified as I glance at him.

Um, Is it oké if I go, too" Kaneki asked.

I put my hand up "I like to go, too" I said

"Huh what's come over you two" Hide said surprised to mine and kaneki's reply.

"It's not like I have anything else to do" I said to Hide.

"Yeah, that's okay, it's not like I'm planning on letting him in or anything" Nishio said turning back to his computer.

We agreed when all of an sudden nishio's phone goes off "first I have to take care of this" he picks up the phone.

I look at Kaneki and held his sleeve making Kaneki look at me "Kaneki? What's wrong you're acting weird"

"I am?" He chuckle and shrugs "don't worry about it, its nothing" I look at him worried and held his chin.

"Well If you say so" I said.

"is he a ghoul, maybe... maybe that's the reason why he's is acting like this" I signed.

"Lets go" Nishio said and we left the school grounds and heading towards nishio's place.

After a little while we stopped at a shop "want one" Nishio asked.

"yeah sure" Hide replied Nishio bought 4 for each of us.
