Chapter 14: worried.

I closed my eye's I stood there in chock when suddenly someone sweeps me into his arm and saved me. "Are you alright.." I heard the voice say worried.

I slowly open my eyes to be sure I'm still alive, And I was I quickly look at the person that saved me he's wearing a hoodie. I hugged him tightly tears fell down my cheeks "I thought I was gonna die" I said sobbing.

"But you're save now aren't you" he carefully put me down on the ground and let's go of me. He reached his hand to his hoodie and turns around so I wouldn't see his face and pulled his hoodie down to covers his face.

Just when I was about to thank him he swiftly jumped away "wait I haven't thanked you yet!" I yelled reaching my hand out to him unfortunately for me he's way to fast.

I look up "great...now im sure to get sick" I took out my phone and called Lawrence but strangely enough he isn't picking up "Hm, I guess he's busy" so I ran home when my phone starts ringing I pressed the green button and held it against my ear "Lady Amaya, you called me?" He said.

"Yes, can you pick me up at..." I look around to see where I am. A toy store nearby caught my attention "um, you know the toy store near our house" he paused for a sec "yes, I do I'll be right there" he said and he hung up I stand beneath a balcony shivering and moving from left to right to stay warm.

After a little while jumping around Lawrence arrived and stepped out of the car carrying a umbrella and quickly walks to me and held the umbrella above me "im sorry for taking so long" he said and I followed him to the car.

I sat down in the car and see next to me towels, and my clothes? "I brought towels with me, so you can dry yourself off" he said.

"might as well change" I dried myself with one of the towel's and changed. Lawrence opened the door and sat down .

"You know..." I said he looks in the mirror at me "yes my lady" he said with a smile. I look away and sighed "nothing let's go home now" I said he nodded.

we went home as we arrived at our house I grabbed my phone and step out of the car and went inside. "Im home!" I said and removed my shoes and headed up stairs to my room and grabbed my shower supplies and went to the bathroom.

I turn the shower on and removed my wet clothes and stepped beneath the shower and applied the shampoo on my hair.

"who is that person that saved me"

I sighed "well..." when I opened my mouth shampoo went into it I spit it out and rinsed my mouth with water "that was disgusting" I wash the shampoo out of my hair.

I finished showering and dried myself up and put my clothes on and put the towel on mt head so I could dry it later. When I step out of the door I see Shoke standing in front of the door he was about to open the door but I just stepped out "Shoke?" I said looking up to him.
He quickly looks away "where were you, I.." he pushed me aside and went into the bathroom without replying and locked the door behind him.

"So he ignored you too" Lawrence said standing on the stairs "I asked him the same thing but he ignored my question and headed up stairs" I listened to what Lawrence said and look at the bathroom door "maybe he does not want to talk about it" I said.

"Im sure he will, someday" Lawrence said I nodded and went to my room to dry my hair after I finished doing that I went to bed.

After a little while my phone vibrated. My eye's still closed I tried finding my phone somewhere on my bed "uh..." I found my phone and held it above my face and open one eye slowly to see who it is.

I got a message from Kaneki's I pressed some button and the message opened up "hi Amaya, we have college tomorrow I'll come at eight, and im sorry for today" that stands in the message.

"..uh sure" I put my phone down and fell asleep.

The next morning

"Lady Amaya wake up, you'll be late for college" I heard Lawrence say.

"Hmm.." I pulled the blacked over me.

"I'm sorry Kaneki-kun" I heard Lawrence say my eye's shot open and threw the blacked away "Kaneki?" He is standing at my door I grabbed my phone to look at the time and it is already 8:08AM.

I forgot to set the alarm for today I stand up and grabbed my clothes an run to the door where Kaneki is standing "Kaneki wait here I'll be right back" before he could answer I rush off to the bathroom room.

I quickly brushed my teeth and took the shower and put my clothes on and went to my room. Kaneki is sitting on my bed waiting for me to get ready."the bed is all tidy guess Lawrence did that" I stood before the mirror and put my hair in a bun.

I did my makeup not to much just a little "ok im done how do I look" I asked Kaneki standing before him out of breath.

He scratches his cheek "you look cute" he said while looking away.

I puffed up my cheeks "is that all" I said walking over to him. bent over and put my hands on my sides I look him in the eye's.

I heard the door being slammed open is startled me and I lost my balance and fell on top off Kaneki "what are you doing Lawrence is calling you.. for..." and he closed the door behind him.

My face already turned red I felt Kaneki's breathing into my neck "are... you.. alright?" Kaneki asked. I slowly pull my self up and our eye's met "...yeah" that's all I could say.

I moved my self away from Kaneki "im sorry about that Kaneki" his face also turned red. I walk over to my door and opened it "let's go it's getting late" I said looking down.

We headed down stairs to the kitchen "Lawrence I don't need breakfast today, if we don't hurry we'll be late, bye Lawrence" I said.

I told Kaneki to put his shoes on so we can leave. I have to put my shoes on "be careful lady Amaya" Lawrence said I nodded and left closing the door behind me.

"We still have 20 minutes before class starts, you think we make it" Kaneki is thinking "maybe... I think" I smiled at him "it's plenty of time, oh yeah do you have to work today" he nodded.

"Yeah, right after college, why you ask?" He askes me.

"No particular reason" I said.

we're walking for about 10 minutes without saying anything "Amaya!" I heard behind me both of us stopped and look behind us "ah, you Itsuki" I said smiling at him

Kaneki look confused at me "Itsuki?" He runs over to me without slowing down and he hugs me "Amaya, it seems you haven't gotten sick that good" he said while letting me go.

"Kaneki this is itsuki Hinasaki, Itsuki this is Kaneki" he scans Kaneki "oh? is he your boyfriend" our faces turned red "no, we're just friends" we said at the both time.

He laughed "I'm just joking" Itsuki said. He looks at the time "darn I'll be late, well Amaya, Kaneki I'll see you later" he said and rushed off.

I look at Kaneki and he's look the way Itsuki went "Kaneki what's wrong?" He looks worried "it's nothing" he said fake smiling at me.

So we went to college and we made it just in time for class.
