Chapter 18: that moment.

The next morning we have college today so I woke up a little to early. I sat up stretching and yawning and taking a look outside the birds are singing "I better get up" I mumbled.

I got out of bed and grabbed a new towel from the shelf. I went to the living room to see if Kaneki is still asleep. . .and he is. I went back to the room and took a look at my clothes "I can't wear this it's shattered and filled with dirt from rolling and running al over the place" I sighed.

I went back to where Kaneki is sleeping "Kaneki you don't mind if i take your phone, right?" I whispered and I took his phone to called Lawrence.

"Lawrence it's me can you bring new clothes and shoes to Kaneki's apartment"

"... Sure I'll be right there" he said and hung up. I placed Kaneki's phone back and waited for Lawrence to arrive after some time I heard footsteps. I walked up to the front door and open it only seeing Tsukiyama standing there.

My eye's widened as I see him stand there "w-what are you doing here?" I said not to loud.

Tsukiyama smirked at me and raised his hand and placed it on my cheek "I want to eat you" he said going al crazy. I just froze for a moment and slapped his hand away "l-leave!" I demanded.

He took his hand back "I leave for now" he said and left. My knees gave up and I plopped on the ground "he's terrifying" I said in a soft voice.

Net after to long Lawrence arrived at the door and knocked I open the door and Lawrence hand right hand holding my neatly folded clothes and the other hand my shoes.

"You could have put all of them into a bag you know, oh well" Lawrence handed the clothes to me and put the shoes near the front door "need anything else?" I shook my head "no this is alright, thank you Lawrence" I gave him a smile.

"Alright if you need anything don't hesitate to ask" he said and left. I waved him off and headed straight to the shower when "BOO!" I screamed so loud and curled up into a ball and covered my ears.

Kaneki heard me and quickly run into the bathroom "what happe...." I look up at Hide amd Kaneki there eyes wide, mouth wide open and face red.

My face turned red cause there are people in the bathroom staring at me "I'm sorry Amaya I thought Kaneki was taking a shower" i look at them like I was about to cry and both left.

After that awkward moment I strp out of the shower dried myself and put on my long light blue sweater and my black tights and dried my hair went to the living room.

"Amaya sorry for what happened, I was in my room and Hide didn't see me so he thought I wan in the shower" Kaneki explained to me.

But I ignored him and sat down on the couch "im going to shower now" Kaneki said and left the room.

Hide and I sat there awkwardly not saying a word after some time passes Hide looked at me "um, Amaya im sorry I barged in the bathroom like that, I'm really am sorry. . . And I really didn't see anything" he said turning his head back to ground.

I sighed "apology accepted it was also my fault for not locking the door" I said looking at Hide back to my cheerful self.

Hide smiled at me "but what made you stay here, did something happened at home?" Hide asked.

"N-no it's nothing like that" I look down "something happened to me because of it I couldn't go home, but it's nothing to worry about" I said and looked back at Hide fake smiling at him.

"I see, that's a relief I thought something might have happened at home" Hide words sounds relieved but also concerned.

Kaneki walked into the room drying his hair "Kaneki I forgive you for rushing into bathroom, but let's not speak about this event ever again" I said suddenly both nodded in agreement.

I stood up and walked to the door "wait where you going!?" Kaneki asked with his towel over his head still drying it.

"Im going ahead I don't want to be late and if you hurry up you might catch up to me" I said and left the apartment. I headed to the train station I checked when the next train will arrive. I glance at the clock behind me "still 10 minutes left" I look around for a bench to sit on. I found one not far from me but I changed my mind as I see a elderly man walk towards the bench.

But someone else took the spot "Oi where do you think you're going old man" one man said to the elderly man. I got angry "who do they think they are" I mumbled.

Seems like a gang of 3 people I walked over to them "Oi don't you have any respect" I said.

"Hah! who are you?" One said.

"I asked you a question" I said keeping my head cool.

"Don't get cocky you little brat" the leader said and stood up grabbing my arm "you want me to teach you some manners" he said looking at me pleased by my appearance.

Right when I was about to fight them someone jumped in front of me with a hoodie on.

"How dare you lay a finger on her!" He said his words full of anger.
