Chapter 8: Siblings issues.

I woke up quite early cause of the loud noise I heard. I went down stairs where the sound was coming from. Suddenly I saw a shadow move inside the kitchen and the lights were on. I walked over to the door slowly opening it "hello?" I said not to loud "is someone there?" I opened the door finding no one there. I walk around the kitchen finding blood on the floor.

"This blood its Shoke's, and also mixed up with someone else's blood as well, what happened to him" I went back upstairs to Shoke his room to check on him but I found him sleeping.

"Shoke, you still up" I got no reply from him "he's sound asleep" I begin to doubt myself. I left his room closing the door behind me.

I went back to my room and went back to bed. I glanced at the clock "I have college today" I have to wake in about two hours again.

I sighed and threw my blanket away and went to the bathroom to ready myself. I was yawning the entire time tiredly. "Maybe I should have slept further" I face palmed myself for not listening to myself.

In one hour I was ready I went down stairs seeing Lawrence standing there "morning miss Amaya" he said as soon as he saw me.

"Morning Lawrence" I replied I stopped in the middle of the stairs when I came up with a idea "Lawrence can you drop me off at Kaneki's place" he looks at me surprised.

"But it's still early" he said confused.

"I know but I want to take him to this place called Anteiku after uni of course, I called him but I guess he's still sleeping or getting ready, so will you bring me?" I said acting all cute.

"I see, alright I'll be waiting in the car" he said and left I quickly put on my shoes and went to the car and went inside "did you put your seat belt on" he asked looking at me from the mirror inside the car.

I gave him my black face "I told you not to ask me that, im not a kid anymore" I said and crossed my arm's he smiled.

"I was just making sure you had it on" I sighed and we left to Kaneki's place. We arrived there in ten minutes "thank you" he shook his head "no need to thank me, its my pleasure helping you out" I gave him a smile "ok, then...bye now, oh yeah you don't have to drive us to college" he nodded.

"Miss wait, don't stay out to late" I gave him a weird look and nodded. Lawrence went back home I took the elevator up when it stopped and two men stepped in.

They kept glaring at me I felt uncomfortable and was about to step out when I felt a hand around my waist "where you going, beautiful" then my phone started vibrating.

"Let go of me!" I struggled as my phone fell out of my pocket I could see Kaneki's name on it.

There eye's turned red "so there ghouls, I just needed to be sure, now I can go all out" my eye's also turned red and used my tail to grab both of them around there neck "you're also a ghoul" I glared at him "don't I look like one?" He remained silent.

"You're scent is different, like a human" the other said I raised my eyebrow "do I? Well it doesn't matter" I let go of them as the elevator stopped and I pick up my phone from the ground and stepped out.

As the door closed I glared over my shoulder at them "if I see you around here again, I'll kill you" I said en left to Kaneki's door.

I sighed in relief "I was so scared ,I hope they wont come back cause I won't be able to kill them" I knocked on his door "kaneki its me" I said.

"I'll be right there" I hear him yell after a little time he opened the door "sorry I just took a shower and was changing my clothes, sorry it took so long"

"Don't worry about it, it didn't take that long" I giggled "oh you called me right, my phone was out" Kaneki said "well come in" I went inside and sat down on hin bed.

"What made you come so early?" He asked.

"... ah~ I almost forgot well you weren't picking up you phone so I thought I come to your house instead and ask you directly, there is this place called Anteiku, I never have been there before but I heard they serve delicious coffee, so you wanna go" he nodded "sure, but after college Hide and I were heading there I was suppose to call you today" I hugged him.

"Thank you!" I let go of him when I picked up a familiar scent "Kaneki go on ahead without me, I forgot something at home" I left soon as I said that.

I went outside and looked up see Shoke jumping from roof to roof "shoke?" I went after him "this is weird he's moving slower than me" I jumped on him from behind both of us fell down on the roof rolling towards the edge.

We stopped rolling I sat up on top of him. My eye's widened as I see Him wounded "what happened to you?" He's looking the other way his hair covering his eye's.

"Answer me, what happened" I held his shoulders "what happened to you, we were so close and now we're so distanced" my eye's started to fill up with tears.

Then he embraced me and jumped away "stay quiet, don't speak and don't move" he whispered in my ear holding me really close his hand was around my waist and the other hand behind my head.

"Did you really think you could escape" I heard someone say. "Who's voice is that" I gently pushed my self away from shoke but he wouldn't let me. "I told you to stay put didn't I, tch, I don't have a choice now, whatever happens don't scream" I felt him pulling down my clothes off shoulder.

I felt a sudden pain I wanted to scream out of pain but held it in and bit my lip instead. I saw his kagune over his shoulder then I heard someone scream I was about to turn my head towards the man's voice came from "dont look" shoke said calmly. He did some steps back and we fell from the roof.

I quickly used my kagune to break the fall. I opened my eye's seeing shoke beneath me. "Shoke you alright" his heart is still beating and his wounds are healing slowly I sighed in relieve.

My shoulder is also healing slowly "great, blood covered my clothes" I looked at shoke "I can't carry him home "Lawrence knows what to do" I searched for my phone "crap..., I forgot my bag at Kaneki's place"

"Maybe shoke has his phone with him" I searched his pockets and found his phone I quickly called Lawrence "Lawrence it's me, shoke got attacked and is badly injured, can you pick us up cause I can't carry him over the streets, so you be here five minutes, alright" I hung up the phone.

I called Kaneki on his phone "hey Kaneki I can't make it to uni today, im feeling sick all of a sudden, no I come and pick my bag up tomorrow it's not like I need it, yeah take care bye" I hung up the phone.

Lawrence arrived and brought the two of us home "what happened to Shoke" I look down "I don't know but someone attacked him and got him badly injured, he told me not to look so, I don't know" I gazed out of the window. "why won't he tell me what's wrong, It's not like I can't take it" I sighed.

The say passed by quickly I asked Lawrence to pick my bag up at Kaneki's place. Lawrence came back quite late he handed my bag over to me. When I took out my phone I had a missed message "it's Hide" I called him.

"Hey Hide, yes I'm feeling much better now, really tel me, what kaneki got a date that's rare, did he really say a date at the library" I giggled "so tomorrow he's having a date, I see yes good night to you as well, no you can't have a kiss, bye Hide" I giggled "im glad that I have great friends" I said and fell on my bed I look up at my phone "it's late I better go and sleep" I fell asleep in seconds.
