"I knew it," Lucas sighed as he looked at his sister. He knew Erica had stolen his He-man action figure. She had done it many times within the past few months, claiming that there was a romance building between the action figure and one of her Barbie's.

With an annoyed huff, he went up to her and grabbed the toy back. He stalked out of the room with his sister shouting at the back of his head. "Hey! They're in love!"

"No," Lucas snapped, "actually, they're not. They don't even exist on the same planet."

"Aren't you too old to be playing with toys?" Erica asked, looking at him weirdly.

"That's not the point," Lucas said, trying to change the subject. "The point is to stay out of my room."

He walked out of the room, stopping when Erica called after him. "Then tell your little nerdy friend to shut his mouth."

He walked back to the doorframe. He felt concern rush through his veins as he looked back at his sister on her bed. "What are you talking about?"

"'Code red, Lucas. Code red. Code red.'" Erica imitated Dustin. "Bunch of nerds."

Lucas's heart started to race at her (Dustin's) words. "Code red?"

He didn't wait for Erica to confirm what she said. Instead, he charged back into his room, desperate to reach his walkie talkie.

"No, no, no, no, no," he muttered to himself as he turned on his radio and found the channel he knew Dustin would be on. "Dustin! This is Lucas. Do you copy? Dustin?"

"Well, well, well, look who it is," Dustin's voice came through the radio. His voice veered on the edge of annoyance, which help sooth some of the panic the Code Red had caused in his chest.

"Sorry, man," Lucas sighed. "My stupid sister turned it off."

"Well, when you were having sister problems, Dart grew again, he escaped, and I'm pretty sure he's a baby Demogorgon."

Lucas felt his heart sink at the news. A full grown Demogorgon required two superpowered girls to kill it. And now they only have the party. If they truly had a chance to kick this thing, they would have to catch and kill it as soon as possible.

"Wait, what?" Lucas asked, not wanting to start worrying about all of the outcomes that could happen if they didn't find Dart soon enough.

"I'll explain later. Meet me and Steve at the old junkyard."

He paused at the name. "Steve?"

"And bring your binoculars and wrist rocket."

"Steve Harrington?" Lucas asked, unable to get past the subject.

"All right, let's go," a new voice that Lucas could only guess to be Steve Harrington's came through the radio.

"Just be there, stat." Dustin said, not answering any questions. "Over and out."

Lucas looked at the radio as the line went dead. "Shit."

"A lot of the times, powers can be controlled by emotion," Ivory said, walking in a circle around Nikki. After getting briefly acquainted with one another, Ivory brought them out into the woods. They didn't hike long, but they made sure to go far enough so no one would wander by and they would be covered by the trees if someone did, "but at the same time emotions can be the reason they can be uncontrollable. So, what kinds of emotions do you feel when they start to get out of control."

"I don't know," Nikki shrugged.

"Okay," Ivory nodded. "Guess we'll just have to do a little experiment."
