A Life with the Dead🙃 (Uzumaki version)

A/N: ok so I got this idea out of nowhere and if y'all like it, then I might make a whole book with this thing like...a continuation. Think I'm gonna make a Sarada version as well. Anyways...hope you enjoy this little idea😊🌙

Boruto's POV

Today was pretty much a normal day, woke up, got dressed, ate breakfast, head out and hang with the gang, dad didn't come home at all as usual...the usual stuff. Which I still found weird. I don't know why, but I get a feeling that because today is so...normal...something big is gonna happen later. Like in those movies dattebasa. The sun was setting and I was heading on my way home.

"I'm home!"

"Welcome home nii-san!"

"Hey Hima! Whatcha doin'?"

"I'm drawing a picture. Look, there's mommy, daddy, you, me, grandpa Hokage, grandma, uncle Neji and old man Pervy Sage!"

"You added them too huh? It's a beautiful drawing Hima😁"

Suddenly we saw a bright white light. "Look out Hima!" I hugged Himawari tightly. I thought something bad happened. But when I opened my eyes...

"Oh my!"

"What the hell?!"

"What just happened?"

"Where are we?"

I was shocked. Four people appeared before us. More like DEAD PEOPLE!!! And not just any dead people, grandpa, grandma, Uncle Neji and Pervy Sage were right in front of us!

(just imagine they look normal, no reanimation eyes or anything but they have a white aura, light glow around their figures. U get what I mean? Just imagine that's what they look like)

"Boruto, Himawari! What was-" mom came and gasped at what she saw.

"H-hinata-sama?" Uncle Neji said.

"Oh...my...gosh...Hinata that's you?" Pervy Sage said clearly shocked.

"Uh...who are you?" the red haired lady, who I know is my grandma from what my dad told me asked.

"I'm Naruto's wife, Hinata." mom bowed 90°.

"So you two are finally together!" Uncle Neji said happily.

"Naruto has a wife...and...KIDS?!?!?!" Grandma looks pretty excited. "I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE GRANDKIDS DATTEBANE-"

"But how did you all get here?" mom asked.

"We don't know. I was just relaxing in heaven of course and then boom I'm here. By the way, are these..." mom completed grandpa's sentence.

"Naruto's kids, Uzumaki Boruto and Uzumaki Himawari."

"AWWWW THEY LOOK SO CUTE- am I being too loud?"

"Grandma has pretty hair, Grandpa has fluffy hair, Uncle Neji has Princess Repunzel hair and Old man Pervy Sage has crazy white hair!" Himawari exclaimed excitedly.

"Crazy!?"

"Princess who now?"

"Hiii~ what's your name dear?" Grandma stooped down to Himawari's height and spoke to her with a cute voice.

"Uzumaki Himawari! Daddy calls me sunflower🌻"

"Aww really. How sweet~"

"And you young man, what's yours?"

"Uzumaki Boruto dattebasa!"

"D-dattebasa...you really are my grandson dattebane!" I couldn't help but smile widely when grandma said that.

"Where's Naruto, Hinata?" Uncle Neji asked.

"Hokage's office. He won't be coming home tonight."

"Well if dad won't come then how about grandpa play with you!" Grandpa smiled widely and Himawari and I yelled with a "YEAHHHHH".

Time Skip (dinner time)

"Dinner's ready everyone!!!" mom and grandma called.

"Coming~" we answered at the same time.

"Thank you for the food!~"

"Naruto chose the perfect girl. You cook well Hinata." Pervy Sage said.

"Now u shouldn't be getting all "you know what" now that-" Pervy Sage cut grandpa off. "No I'm not!"

"EAT THE GODDAMN FOOD" grandma's scary when she's upset. I better not make her angry. She's almost like mom, but scarier!!!

"How did you survive with a scary woman like that?" Uncle Neji asked grandpa.

"I have no idea how."

This is the best dinner I've ever had in so long!

Time Skip (after dinner, bedtime)

"Goodnight everyone!"

I went into my bedroom and shut the door behind me. But I wasn't expecting to see...

"Grandpa? What're you doing here? Don't you sleep with grandma?"

"I know, but I wanted to sleep in here with you. You don't mind?"

"What are you saying? You're my grandpa dattebasa." Grandpa laughed. "You sure are my grandson. Just like your grandma and dad😄. Let's get to sleep shall we?"

I switched off the lights and went into bed. "What're you doing grandpa?"

"Sorry, I always wanted to tuck Naruto in bed but he's all grown up now and a busy man so I thought I might get the chance to do what I couldn't with you instead. Not to mention, you're my grandson. Any grandfather would love to do this."

My heart felt warm when he said that. I really couldn't stop smiling! I know I have my mom's dad but I didn't know what my dad's dad was like. I don't know why they're here when they should be in heaven but I'm glad I got to see them.

"Goodnight Boruto, sweet dreams."

"Night night grandpa..."

A/N: THAT LAST PART GOT ME SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCREEN. I JUST WROTE SOMETHING SO CUTE IT'S PROBABLY THE BEST THING I'VE WRITTEN SO FAR😆😭🥰😫. Should I make this a whole book?👀
