So...in one of the chapter-episodes I have here, for episode 233, in the comment section, Xcen5e4i shared something amazing. Credits go all to her.
As we all know, Sarada's name means "salad" in Japanese. This fandom thinks of her name to be funny cuz Sasuke named his daughter after...food. So it's quite a parody, Salad Uchiha. HOWEVER, there is another meaning to her name besides salad.
The name "Sarada" is another name for the Hindu Goddess, Mother Saraswati (ik most people say 'Goddess Saraswati' but in my family we all consider hindu goddess as mothers, so don't mind me calling her 'mother'). Here's what she commented:
So...after seeing this comment, I did one of the things I do best: sit on the toilet seat and get lost in thought about a topic. And well, this is what I was lost in thought thinking about. I sat there and thought, why did Sasuke name his daughter after Mother Saraswati?? Surely he didn't name his daughter after food. It may look so cuz her name means salad but...what if her name really is based on Mother Saraswati?
I mean, Otsutsuki Indra and Otsutsuki Ashura were based on hinduism, Lord Indra the King of the Heavens, and Ashura meaning asura or asur which translates to "demon". Sarada is another name for Mother Saraswati. Let's see, Mother Saraswati is knowledgeable, She knows...SO MUCH. She must have a curious personality, and wants any opportunity to know more, that sounds like Sarada too. Also, Sharada is another name for Her. Both Sharada and Sarada meaning autumnal as well.
Autunmal people are externally motivated and perceived to be busy people. They are typically fiery, full of passion, integrity and drive, and often with a cause! They have flamboyant outgoing personalities and are often fun to be around along as you they don't get on their bad list. (Yes, I copied and paste)
So we can say that Sarada is an autunmal person.
Here's another thing...copying and pasting here: in fall, the growing cycle gives us ripeness and maturity. The harvest is associated with abundance, prosperity and wealth. Humans too experience an “autumn”. If spring represents new birth and childhood, and summer symbolizes youth, autumn represents adulthood and maturity.
That too says alot about Sarada. She's more mature for her age (when she was an Academy student) and she does act like an adult when the time is right. Now here's another thing I'm gonna copy and paste:
A time of harvest and longing, celebrations, endings and melancholy, autumn is a potent mixture of all the exquisite fulfillment and color that accompanies the ritual of dying. It reminds us that dying is, in truth, a time of the deepest abundance and celebratory.
Umm...dying? I'm sorry. Dying...what does death have to do with this? I dunno🤷♀️ maybe cuz someonedeartosaradaisgonnahavetodieinorderforhertoawakenhermangekyosharingan??? Maybe.
And then there's...this: What is the spiritual meaning of autumn?
As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, "The only constant is change." Autumn reminds us that our bodies, minds, and surroundings are always developing. It focuses on the impermanence of life, emphasizing how vital it is to embrace the present. By doing so, we can savor what we have before it is gone.
And I think by now...everyone knows, chapter 66 is everywhere.
Her name may be another name for Mother Saraswati, she's smart, curious, wants to know more, so she's an autumnal person. But of course, autumn has lots of meanings behind it. And what do we celebrate when it's autumn?? Halloween. And then there's chapter 66 wrecking everyone. So...back to my question, why did Sasuke name his daughter "Sarada"??
It's like a literal story of what the Uchihas go through. The moment Sarada receives the knowledge of what happened, and the more she knows, the more knowledge she gets, especially of her clan and her eyes, the more most likely, she'll lose more than what we lost in chapter 66 and who knows, in a future chapter...someone else might be next.
I hope I'm making sense. If u think not, tell me what u think. I would love to hear from others as well what they think. We might get on to something the more we converse on this.
Have a good day/evening/night. Sorry, but my inner 'priest mode' comes out when talking about Hindu Gods/Goddesses. Hope I didn't sound too much into it😅 but anyways, see ya again on Sunday...which will come soon.

Jai Maa Saraswati 🙏
edit: so...I updated this at night, the next day, well...today, is Saraswati Jaiyanti. My family and I sang a few bhajans (hymns) and stuff but...the offerings we offered to Mother Saraswati today, (besides the bananas and grapes) were all red fruits. Mainly watermelon, apples and strawberries. BUT THEY'RE ALL RED and my sis wore all red and I wore a red dhoti pants. RED Y'ALL, RED. SARADA'S COLOR IS LITERALLY RED.
And now I have this other theory. Hagaromo probably does know of hinduism and probably named Indra after Lord Indra himself. That was a looooooong time ago, right. What if Sasuke found out Indra was named after him while traveling n shit. What if he probably found hinduism and heard of Mother Saraswati, and then when Sarada came along, named her after her the same way Hagaromo named Indra after him. Hinduism. WHAT IF YOU ALL, WHAT IF. This is just a theory but it could mean something. Whatch think??
