Mitsuki must admit that having a non-binary parent affects him a lot as a person. Not in a bad way, though. If anything, he feels better.
He likes that he can be manly and handsome at times, but after Himawari gives him a sudden comment on his personality that he never noticed, he's been noticing it himself afterwards.
He has quite a feminine side, too.
He's noticed he has an interest in skincare, nails, and can sometimes carry on himself like a lady would. Perhaps it's due to spending lots of time with Sarada and occasionally Cho-Cho and the other girls when they'd be with Sarada, and they're all chatting away about some of the most random things ever. He's hanged out with the girls a good few days, and he can say with confidence that these girls are affecting him now, too.
He's starting to put his hands by his waist a lot and just stand like that. Sometimes, add in some sass with it and position one of his hands in a slight fist, the way girls would check their nails, you know? Girls nowadays have been using some weird slang words as time goes, and it's rubbing off on him.
You'd catch Mitsuki any day at any time now saying words like slay, bestie, "the girlies", sis, babygirl or "that's so babygirl", queen behavior, girlfriend, and so on. The list continues.
He'll act as his usual self when necessary, of course, but when he's in a really funny mood, he apparently acts girly. It concerned his guy friends at first, but they're used to it now.
There was even a time someone called Mitsuki gay for acting feminine and he looked at them, gasped, placed his hand on his chest and said, "Omg I don't know you but, that compliment made my day. That's so sweet of you!"
No one ever bothered him on his feminine factors again.
Simply put, Mitsuki doesn't stick to standard gender expectations. He believes this is his own will as well.
His parent, Orochimaru, doesn't have a problem with how he is. They claim that Mitsuki is simply living life, discovering things about himself, and they're genuinely happy about that.
They're truly pleased at the fact that Mitsuki is able to make his own comfortable persona with his body as he figures out what things he likes.
Boruto found it a little weird at first but then thought, "To be honest, I can't be saying anything when I'm a guy who likes pink and gets made fun of for that sometimes."
Inojin was on board with Mitsuki, surprisingly. "This is art." He had stated with all seriousness.
Shikadai found it to be a drag but didn't care much after a while when he realized "girly" things is something Mitsuki enjoyed. He slowly began accepting the idea of breaking gender stereotypes.
The most entertaining was Boruto's father, Nanadaime's reaction.
They were called in for a mission, and it involved infiltration. However, it was a women-only space, and Team 7 was the only team available to get it done.
"I know Sarada will get in just fine. Boruto, if necessary, you have your Sexy Jutsu to fit in. Meanwhile, Mitsuki... Hmm." Nanadaime paused, in deep thought.
Mitsuki reassured him, "It's okay, Nanadaime. I can just say I'm not a boy."
The Hokage looked up, blinking confusedly, "Eh?"
"I can let myself in by saying I'm trans-gender, or non-binary like my parent–Or! I can say I'm gender-neutral. Something along the lines of androgynous! I'm sure it'll work out fine."
"I guess, but do you even know how to act like that?" He asks, unsure.
"Sir, I'm literally one of the girls at this point. I'm literally invited to every girls-out. Himawari-chan and I play dress up often. Cho-Cho and Inojin like to practice makeup on my face, and I eat up my visuals way more than my plain yet yummy face, as Sarada likes to call it. I'm what you'd call a babygirl; a pretty man. Trust me, I know what I'm doing."
Sarada, "And that's on what?"
Boruto and Mitsuki, "Period."
Konohamaru-Sensei sighs beside them, "They've influenced Boruto, too."
Boruto, "Hima taught me what girlhood is."
Konohamaru, "I see."
Mitsuki's will has completely become his own at this point. He wants to grow out his hair a little. He wants to try styling it. He wants to be included in all the girl gossip.
That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy boyhood!
He still goes along with his friends' wild adventures. He still enjoys video games, riding on the Thunder Train's roof, and goofing off with the boys.
He believes it's his choice and his will to like all these things and make it part of him.
That's when he decided, "I think I've actually found myself." He couldn't be happier.

A/N: Guess who's back? Made a short sumth starting with Mitsuki because he's literally my favourite character. Him and Sarada, actually. I'm not sure I'll come back with more but look forward to more stuff anyway!
